I spent a substantial amount of cash building up my hero and was then unable to play for some time due to work, family commitments, and health. When I returned my account was deleted.
I contacted support and: 1) was told that accounts are deleted after inactivity but could be restored and, 2) because I had forgotten my password (I could give purchase dates, hero name, my email address, etc.) I was unable to have my account restored. So much for my money and the time it took to become a level 42 ranger!
In short, you’re taking a chance. It’s actually a decent game, but it’s a shame support is non-existent and you may lose out on the money you spend.

can't even see what skills are on my equipment with these new update. how long before you patch it. this game is barely playable.

The team is still working on these areas, and your request for Portuguese localization is also noted. If you can share specific bugs or suspicious accounts with Support, it helps us investigate them properly.
Tragic state of Celtic heroes
I’ve been an on and off longtime player. Me and my family have numerous exclusive pieces of gear and fashion from as early as 2011. We love this game, but the current people who run the game do not. Some people will say that playing free to play is impossible on a game like this, but it’s not entirely true. With support from a good clan you can indeed reach endgame without spending real money, and have a good time doing it. The problem is, a bunch of gambling addicts are at the heart of this games player base and that is by design. If you boot up the game you will see numerous level 220+ characters in castle everyday. Many times they are gambling ludicrous amounts of money on a whim. They will waste the most powerful elixirs in castle while doing nothing, and flaunt that they have hundreds of them before calling you a slur and buying another loot crate or rolling the dice for 500k with another gambling addict. This is by design. The current group who run the game consider these individuals their bread and butter. Nowadays most of their resources are funneled directly into overly expensive fashion pieces and loot crates. Not accessible content. They recycle the same events that spawn giant ugly bosses all over the entire world, sometimes actively making using your classes aoe moves in popular grinding spots a death sentence due to danger of aggroing the mid-end game level boss that’s way higher level than the area you’re in. This is their idea of accessible free “new” content. Funnily enough these bosses are not new and are remnants of the olden days, bosses that have been otherwise removed from the game. Artificial excitement, fake content. The main problem though is that they refuse to ban any of the incredibly toxic individuals you will see every day in the main hub. They will blatantly call you slurs for everybody to see. I once reported somebody for using incredibly offensive language, and support got back to me with the most insane response you’ll ever hear from official support. They said, hey buddy, it seems you called this person who was using actual slurs and bullying low levels for being poor a loser. Due to your own TOXIC language, if we were to take action on this other person who was bullying new players and saying slurs, we would ALSO have to ban you, because calling someone who says slurs a loser is just as bad as bullying new players and actually using slurs. This is because the person who was bullying these new players is one of their precious gambling addicts. He obviously spends hundreds if not thousands of dollars a month on the game. He is their precious cash cow and they love him, despite him actively discouraging new players from wanting to play their game. Therein lies the problem. Celtic Heroes does not care about you. If you aren’t a degenerate gambling addict who is gonna waste thousands of dollars on them you can go screw yourself. The deeper you go, the more apparent this reality becomes. I actively try to help new players and give them elixirs and money, and know other people who do the same. Despite this, the environment deliberately created by Celtic Heroes themselves deters the vast majority of new players from ever playing the game again once they realize the reality of the situation. As much as I love this game fundamentally, and as much as I and a few others will help you on your journey if you are free to play, I cannot recommend you play this game, and if you do, do NOT spend a single cent on it until things change, if they ever do.

Disappointed
Very disappointing I have learned that I can no longer play on my iPad because of some VO4 thing that deca has added which for a player who’s been playing for a while good years wise when onethumbmobile was the owner this is a pain. Feels like I’ve wasted years building up a character that now can’t be played on my device. That brings my rating from 3 to 1 stars because of finding out this. For future reference update the dang compatibility thing so we don’t feel stupid for not knowing.

I have played this game since 2013…Seen many changes and different owners.Celtic hero’s is a great game and the developers now (Deca) have a great customer service and will go above and beyond to assist you with any help u need. My gf lost her account and after a couple of days got it back to her with evidence to back she’s the owner. As a player of Celtic for so long thankyou for your hard work

This game is incredible and it has stuck with me since I started playing it when I was 10 years old (13 years ago). Many changes have happened throughout this time, but I can say that this game is worth your time. Though it can be rough on new players because of this deep underlying pay to win and grinding aspect throughout the mid-game. Which is what I would recommend to the developers. First of all, try to advertise and engage with new people more. You have such a loyal base of supporters that would love to see new players liven up our servers again. Also, adjust the experience gained (or required) throughout the early to mid storyline, up until about level 120. By this point, new players will have had time to make friends, join a clan, start fishing and cooking to make money, and that pay to win wall wouldn’t hit so hard and so early and stop them dead in their tracks. Overall, the best game I’ve ever played, whether it be for nostalgia or for the sake of the game itself. I highly recommend new comers to try it out!

Bugs werden einfach nicht beseitigt und mit jedem Update kommen neue hinzu. Scammer und Bots haben freie Fahrt, der Kauf von Accounts oder Items ist verboten findet aber dennoch statt und wird nicht unterbunden.
Bei den Rolls gewinnen immer wieder die gleichen Spieler.
Pay to win funktioniert, wenn man soviel Geld reinsteckt, dass einem schwindelig wird!

So sad , in 2021 ther abouts you know when the covid pandemic hit , i had been working the same job for 27 years and was set for retirement i just had a few years to go and i was playing this game a long time ago. Well they laid everyone off……. Permanently. So i was playing celtic heroes with no job and then i got a horrible pain in my side i could hardly stand i went to the emergency room at the hospital and after a long wait they diagnosed me with prostate cancer . Eventually i got surgery but it didnt get it all and started coming back so they zapped me with radiation so now of my last test i am cancer free but it wiped out my retirement money and took my job so now i get to play celtic heroes alot , because i had to take my social security early i get that little check and scrape by so far with just enough money to pay bills what a world

Great game but no mmo happening
I played this game a lot in 2012 and 2013 and then got away from it. Started playing again last month.
I miss the social clan play which is virtually gone. The game has matured to the point that most players are in endgame and in clans that dominate their server. They do not interact with new players. The game is also not attracting new players so you warned around in the world alone. You see the high levels in the castle, but they won’t even respond to a simple hello. For the record of leveled up to the mid 90s and intend to keep going if I can.
The makers are missing a real opportunity to market this game and bring new people on to get that excitement back
It’s really well done with lots of interesting quests, and lots of opportunity for group play. The world’s characters and mobs are great. There’s just no one to group with.

No reason for anyone to ever download this ancient game that you will never play , never want to play and you will definitely never get addicted to . It’s never been updated and it runs on the same fifteen year old graphics , play , backgrounds and greed . If you like wasting time and money on a game you’ll never play , this is it ! One star because they wouldn’t allow zero stars.

Is there any way you could do some maintenance that would help those of us who don't use bots? You do maintenance in practically less than a month and still don't fix the bugs or ban the bots. Where's the Portuguese translation?? I'm getting really annoyed, I'm disgusted with this game!!!

It’s never been updated and it runs on pure greed . They don’t care about the game , they definitely don’t care about any players . buy some platinum , if you somehow get what you bought by complaining to your credit card company or pay service , they ban your account . The biggest mystery is why Apple or Google still allow it on their services , it was dead ten years ago , it’s not better now . Do yourself a favor , download it and see for yourself , you were warned .
