Needs to start over
Ugly design. Tiny text. Slow to load. This is one of the worst restaurant apps I’ve used. It should be scrapped and rebuilt from scratch.
Fast + efficient!
Didn’t have time to make myself breakfast this morning, so I downloaded the app and put in an order at the location down the street from my office. The timing couldn’t have been more impeccable – my drink & oatmeal were just being finished right as I walked in the door! Great service as always, and the app definitely cuts down on the wait times (especially for food). Thanks Ceremony! ☺️

Good for a v1.0!
I tried it out this morning with “the roastery” location which I frequent basically daily and it worked quite well though it could use a few more features to really streamline the process. Pretty good for version 1.0 though.
Wish-list of features:
- alternative forms of payment. Ideally, Apple Pay w/ touch/Face ID
- needs a tip line at check out (I always tip and never carry cash so this almost makes the app a no-go for me)
- it wasn’t clear to me how far out I should place the order so that it may be ready by the time I arrive. If it is ready too early, it could mean cold coffee waiting for me... if ready too late, it negates online ordering. It implied a 10 min window only after I placed the order.
- an “order”, which includes all items of the order plus tip should be a favorite as well, in addition to individual items like current functionality.
- probably not possible but would love to have Siri integration via Siri Shortcuts e.g. “hey Siri, place my coffee order” to allow hands-free while driving to coffee shop. These would be tied to “favorite orders” described above.
- possible bug: it doesn’t seem to remember my currently “checked” ceremony location. It defaults to “mt Vernon”
