About

Make room for one good session. Chambers is a quiet place for 1L students to focus, practice their law-school notes, and see the evidence of showing up. Give one task your attention. Choose a session length and set a goal, then settle into a full-screen timer with a pinwheel countdown and an encouraging quote. The display dims after 30 seconds untouched; tap to bring the controls back. Keep your countdown nearby on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. Pause when you need to. Return when you're ready. Build your recall. Review course-specific flashcards and practice questions in Property, Torts, Civil Procedure, Legal Writing, and Basic Legal Research. Start Quick 10, choose a subject or topic, work through a fact pattern, or revisit questions using your saved answers. See the correct answer after each question and revisit what you missed. Keep a reference desk close at hand, and drill material through flashcards, quizzes, and recall from memory. Put a pause before the scroll. Gatekeeper uses Screen Time to guard the apps and websites you choose. Declare a purpose, take a breath, and recall a few rules before taking a deliberate break. Adjust your study schedule, break budget, and session length. You stay in control of what is guarded. Make room for play. Take a short break with number recall, quick math, light sequences, or word building. Choose a game or let Chambers surprise you. Your best five scores in each game are saved on your phone. These optional games are separate from your study progress. Enter your work into The Record. Focus time, flashcard reviews, quiz answers, and concepts touched become evidence of the habits you're building. Practice counts even when an answer needs another look. No guilt over a quiet day. Comebacks outrank streaks. Free, with no account required. Your study tools work offline, and this version stores your study record and game scores on your device. Course notes are study aids, not legal advice or a substitute for your assigned materials. Chambers is independent and is not affiliated with a university.

1.3

This week's law-school material is in: 51 new flashcards and 53 new practice questions on future interests, defeasible estates, negligence and the reasonable person, general and specific jurisdiction, and Bluebook citation. Practice questions now always show full answer choices. Fixes: every screen scrolls clear of the bottom bar, and the Gatekeeper guard no longer switches itself off after the app is closed and reopened. Play break games and app-specific passes from 1.2 are included.
