Decent customer service
I was thankful this existed at the time even if the app is a bit clunky. I had some issues with places being closed when trying to return it (that should have been open) that made returning it a bit challenging. Their customer service was responsive though and that is appreciated.

I only wanted to use a power bank for like 30 mins what it like £2 but it ended up charging me £25 deposit!!! I returned it over a week ago and still not got it back! I am very not happy with this!
Bit patchy
Used a ChargedUp in London - it’s hard to find the exact place where the are somewhere as busy as central London. I also had problems returning the charger - I found a place with a space but the machine would not accept the charger. I went to another location which didn’t have a space according to the app - luckily it did. Apart from those issues, it’s brilliant to have access to a power bank without having to buy one.

When I enter my phone number and name it just says “hmm log in”…but there is nowhere to log in.

It always says on the bar, to find them, regardless of how many bars the place has. In 2025 it can’t be that hard to add more info. They are never there even though they say they are. Use Joos instead
Won’t let me sign up
I’m trying to sign up with my phone number from the United States and it errors out every time. I rented one of your power banks but I don’t know where the locations are to return it… is there a public listing of your locations?

Over charged
Rented a battery at Blackpool pleasure beach on the Saturday when I returned it because it was flat (fair enough did charge several phones with it and happy about that) it registered that I’d had the phone for 35 days and charged me £30 not been able to get in touch with anyone for help
Didn’t get my money back.
It charged my phone pretty well but the time I took it back to where I got it from I didn’t get my money back which really annoyed me since I only used it for around an hour so I should have gotten £27 back.
Can’t get into app
I don’t have what’s app so I can’t receive the code to get into the app. Would be easier if it was done through email.
Update the map??
Honestly, it’s a scam. I have been searching for a power station, but every place I go, according to the map, tells me the station is no longer there, and I am being charged unfairly.
Broken app
Enter my phone number and name and it tells me my number isn’t a uk number or to log in. There is no option to log in. Useless!
Stuck with it - no vacant slots
Seems like a really good idea but I’m stuck with one as the slots where I picked it up from are now full - so I’ve got to try to find another outlet miles away and being charged all the time for doing so.
Does not allow me to register.
I need to return my bank so that I’m not charged for it and I tried to register having installed the app but it just crashes after I enter my phone number for verification message so Icannot see where there are available docks to return to it. I don’t want to be charged.

Poor quality service
Hi I used one of your charging stations at a pub next to Highbury and Islington station today . It says it’s free for 5 minutes however it didnt say how much it was per minute or per hour it was after that. After 11 minutes I took it of charge and I was charged £3 for that time, had I known it was going to be £3 for an hour I would have left it on for 49 more minutes . The stations do not clearly advertise how much it is per minute or per hour, hence why I am very unsatisfied about

Map Totally out of date
Great when you find one, battery also great and charges pretty quick. Biggest problem is the map of where they are is totally out of date, don’t trust when low on battery. If they could fix this 5 stars
Did not cater for existing customers
I paid for the annual fee, halfway through they were "upgrading" the machines, basically changed their system altogether, i was unable to use any of their new stations for half year. They basically scammed half year of my subscription fee and when i ask for them to clarify they just said "you can mail me back the chager" at my own cost too. Really disappointing.

Why can’t I give zero stars?
Extraordinary rip off. You borrow a charger for what feels like a reasonable £2.50 an hour then spend the night wandering the city looking for an empty return slot. The app tells you they’re everywhere but they’re nowhere. And you end up paying multiples more with the noose of the empty and useless battery around your neck. Shameful.
