Great app
The ChargeNet app is really handy to find the closest chargers really love how it is linked to our Octopus Energy account so we can use up our credits from solar charging.

There is no search option available for maps
Please include a search bar on the map. When planning a trip, it can be challenging to locate specific areas if you’re not familiar with the surroundings. A search feature would allow users to place a marker based on their search, making it easier to identify the nearest charger to that spot instead of having to scour the map.

Great, convenient network
Visiting NZ from Perth. Rented a Tesla. Saw a ChargeNet charger on maps and decided to give it a go as it was closer than a supercharger.
Was super simple and easy to to use. Charged super fast. 0 hassle.
With we had as many chargers in Perth. This network is to be commended.

Doesn’t accept AU credit cards
Signed up to the app since I’ve hired an EV. Doesn’t accept AU sign up details for credit card. Totally useless.

Easy to use from the app. I always pop into the Richmond library while charging.
Paknsave Lower Hutt
Difficult to swing arm towards vehicle and also to terminate the session. My iPhone still shows charging at 80% several hours after session finished

Charging is easy
I love that this allows you to see when the charger is being used and enables you to plan your charging stops. Most of them are pretty quick. Sometimes too quick and you can be told off for not getting back to your car quickly enough!. wasn’t so expensive But I guess for it to be cheaper the government would actually have to subsidise it.

Very limited support
There is almost no support within the app and there is no way to give feedback on the charger where there are issues with them. Seems like they could be using a little bit of crowd source support to improve the network but don’t wanna hear from customers.
Faster polling please
Please decrease polling interval from the current 30-35 seconds to 5-10. And have a little sand timer to indicate when it will next get stats. And have it update immediately when returning to the app.
30s is so long that users don’t even know if it updates at all. Come on devs!

Excellent App
This is a great App that gives a clear indication of charge progress. Easy to start and terminate the charge. Clear instructions for finding a charger and a good filter on the App to pinpoint exactly what you want
Maps are useless
Maps don’t show up and searching for chargers in distant locations is rubbish
Rip Off Pricing
Don’t bother. They charged me $50 for a full car charge. I used BP’s charge station and the same charge was $12.
Web2gl error on iOS start
New app does not show a map, just a white screen with a web2gl error (no support for rendering) in the middle of it. Since IOS 17 and unrelated to connection type. Reinstall has no effect.
Great service
This app is very clever and works really well. Quick to recognise you at charging station lets you know progress on your ph when you are having a coffee waiting. It’s a delight to use.
on OS 15.2.1 latest update doesn’t work??? !!!
