The app tells you your order is ready the next day. It’s hilarious! I just order and go up to my local store and it’s always ready.
Gets orders wrong
This app is so broken. Do not use. Just had it somehow completely remove something I added to cart and instead duplicated my other item when I checked out. Ended up waiting 20 minutes and paying for a meal I didn’t even want and missed out on what I actually ordered. Very glitchy!!
Not quicker than just ordering at registrar
The app is clearly not a priority - orders via checkout are much much faster. I had to remind staff that I actually ordered via the app. Please look at Guzman for a great experience team. Won’t be using again.
Broken app
It used to be good it Hasn’t worked for months uninstalled reinstalled every time it gets to adding local shop just blank screen until reinstalled then same again.
And now, even with the new version, very annoying because I have points the only way I can use. It is to reinstall it each time and then it works once fails. And try open again white screen. Tried reaching out to Support when are you fixing it.

Completely failing app
This app fails in placing an order, I’ve had two occasions where I have placed orders that the shop has been forced to reject as the software on their side won’t accept the order. It’s a waste of time. Just show up to the store instead, the app is no reflection of their food, that’s actually pretty good. Thier engineers….. maybe they need some chicken

Menu is Useful
Suggest landing on menu before asking any details. I couldn’t get to the menu - didn’t add credit details because I didn’t want to before ordering and happy they aren’t in the app to be honest
Can’t get passed login
Once you login and select home location, app goes white and can’t do anything. Fix the app

Still broken after months… and you can’t even use your coins on the website, this is appalling. Can’t order at all on the app. Sort it out for Christs sake
App is totally broken
I was using this app regularly, but for a few months it’s been totally broken. The app crashed while I was halfway through an order. Now, the whole app “whites out” as soon as it loads - can’t even view the front screen.
I’ve tried reinstalling to no avail. My girlfriend’s app also has this issue.
With no apparent support to call or contact, I just can’t use the app until they fix it. As a result, I was a regular customer but haven’t ordered from Charlie’s for months now. This might be the only way y’all understand: **You guys are losing money with this broken app**. I’ve also lost access to the loyalty points I was building up (aka “Charlie coins”).
Unfortunately I have to rate it 1 star until they fix it.
When the app was working, I would have rated it 3 stars. I loved the convenience of ordering ahead plus Apple Pay support. But it was clearly pretty flimsy: the pickup estimates were not live (they are always just a fixed time of 20 minutes), and it never notified me when my order was ready.

At least in Camberwell, no one checks the order coming in from the app, it takes so much longer to get the food.

Absolutely useless. The Chargrill Charlie’s app is hands-down one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. It crashes constantly, whites-out, and freezes. The app apparently lives in its own alternate reality where functionality is optional.
I’ve reinstalled it, updated it, restarted my phone — nothing helps. It’s like the developers built it as a uni project and never touched it again. For a company with this many stores and this much customer traffic, having such a broken app is embarrassing. Fix it or take it down — it’s doing more harm than good.

Useless App
The App is worse than terrible. Thought I would give CC a final chance at redemption after the door dropped the local letterboxes with a 50% off code… you have to use it on the App & have an account, it doesn’t work. Painful experience & last time the food wasn’t great so just steering clear

I have to keep deleting the app to use it
App doesn’t load, I have to delete it to use it. Then works. Then delete to reuse again. Just stays white and blank.
Don’t get ripped off
So I finally thought I would try the app after they kept emailing me vouchers. I purchased a burger and get one free. After the money left my account the app effectively froze and stopped progressing the order. Went to store and had to debate my order, in the end they gave me some other customers order and assumed their system had messed up the order. So not only did the transactions process bomb, but the food bombed too as the order I received was missing certain ingredients as per that other customers order. Fail and fail….. never again.
