What's New in Checklist

2.2.0

October 28, 2026

Checklist 2.2.0: lists that tick themselves. • Timers: "Read · 20 min" ticks itself when the time's up, even with Checklist closed. The countdown sits on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. • Phone down: a timer that only counts while your iPhone lies face down. Pick it up and it waits. • Streaks: a repeating list remembers the days you finished it. Watch "12 mornings in a row" add up, and share the card. • Reminders when you arrive: the grocery list comes up when you get to the shop. Free, like every reminder, and your location stays on your device. • "Go to the gym" ticks itself when you get there. • Ask someone to unlock: when Focus has locked your apps, ask the person you share the list with. They tap Allow, and you get 15 minutes. • Six more moves the camera counts: jumping jacks, lunges, sit-ups, high knees, burpees and glute bridges. • Filter your lists to what's left to do, your routines, or streaks at risk. • Your year in checklists: a card to share at New Year. • Fixed lists on Home jumbling after one grew while it was open. Some features require Checklist Pro.

User reviews

i'm very satisfied that they took the time to respond to my comp

they are constantly working on their route so I will get this a second chance ... If you close out of the app and reopen it, then you have to re-enter everything manually.

Response from developer

Sorry you lost your list. That shouldn't happen, and it's fixed: Checklist 2.0.0 is a full rebuild, and every change now saves the moment you make it, with no save button needed. If you give it another try and anything goes missing, email support@usechecklist.app and I'll look into it personally. – Ifeanyi

Keep deleting and unchecking my items

I tried using this to track something reasonably important, but every morning I found it had reverted to a previous version, with some items deleted and others unchecked. Useless.

Response from developer

I'm sorry, that's the worst thing a checklist can do. Checklist 2.0.0 is a full rebuild with a new way of storing lists, and every change saves straight away. Lists only untick in the morning now if you choose to make them repeat. If you try it again and see anything like this, please email support@usechecklist.app. – Ifeanyi

Really good

It gets the job done really well easy to find your checklists and overall a really good app

Response from developer

Thank you! Glad it does the job. – Ifeanyi

No save button

I got this because I of how simple it looked. However I spent about an hour making a detailed punch list only to find there is no save button. My phone was dying and I couldn’t figure out how to save it?! Before I could get to charge my phone it died and I lost everything! Don’t get this if you’re doing anything important.

Simple and easy

No ads!! Simple, easy, barebone checklist. I love it.

Response from developer

Thank you! Still no ads, and it'll stay that way. – Ifeanyi
