How turn on engine on new app version?

modern culture ruined chessify
the new app update is broken. the engine doesn't work, neither do any of the databases. its practically unusable. by the way, it says "Sing In" instead of Sign in

Since last upgrade not able to scan from iPhones. Also app crashes and suddenly quits. Used to be a great app but not anymore
Devs need iPhones
Opening a photo from the iPhone has always been buggy and the newest update just shows “LOADING…” when it gets to the photo library. Seems like non of these devs have an iPhone or at least one with many photos to test against. Great app but needs better testing.

Please make sure you’ve updated the app to the latest available version, as it already has several important fixes, including reading the photos and not the files. The latest update unified it with the Chessify website, which required major changes throughout the app. Unfortunately, some issues appeared during this transition. We’re actively working through all reported problems and releasing fixes as quickly as possible to bring the app back to the stable experience you expect. We hope for your understanding.
Malfunction
At this moment, the app is uncapable to scan a chess board
They destroyed it
After the last update they killed this app now it is useless. If they don’t fix it by next week, it is going to garbage. Apparently their moto If it ain’t broken break it
App is broken
Move analysis doesn’t even work anymore. Useless and clunky UI. Used to work fine but now it’s stuck on “Analysing”.
Great when it actually works

It WAS a great app when it worked. Now I just get a message that says “something went wrong try again later”. It didn’t have any problem taking money from me for more time but still didn’t work. I’ve written twice to the developers without the courtesy of any reply.

Broken
Doesn't work in iOS 18.
Time saver
I read a lot of chess books and spend too much time setting up all the positions they are going over. I got this app so I can take a picture of the board in the book, and play out the position easily without spending time on setup. This app is perfect for that and seems to do other stuff too .

Crashes all the time.
This app crashes whenever I try to load an image.
This used to be good
This used to be great: cloud chess engine much more powerful than a good PC, on your phone, for a reasonable price. Now the speed (nps) of ‘Superfast’ analysis is abysmal - my phone czn fo same or better, for free. In addition, very often the app does bot even get past the starting screen, basically does not work at all. This is unfortunate because they website , separate from this app subscription, is still great (they need to optimize their interface, but analysis speed is excellent).

Great but two hitches
Love being able to use this to scan in a position from a book, the main reason for buying it
Two things: after you have chosen options and begin playing over, you can’t flip the board, only at start. This is small but annoying

Every time you open the app it selects move click sound, so I have to turn it off.

Not working on iPad
This paid subscription App does not work on iPad Pro IOS 15.1 or 16.1.
The App will not recognise chess pieces from photos taken within the Chessify App.
Approaches to the Chessify support team have yet to result in a meaningful response, mainly ignoring the problem or no response at all. This is very disappointing from an Apple App store App and entirely unexpected!

program does not open
developers do not respond for help. create a game does not open. it is dead. the first time used was ok, but then when trying to play machine again, the program goes limbo
