Don’t bother!

I am writing this review after several months of using Christian Mingle, and I am ultimately very disappointed.
The primary issue I encountered was the overwhelming number of scammers and fake profiles ("catfish"). It feels like a significant portion of the user base is not genuine, which makes it extremely difficult to connect with real people. Furthermore, the reporting process for these fraudulent accounts is cumbersome and ineffective.
Beyond the safety concerns, I also found the platform’s demographic to be quite narrow, lacking the political and social diversity I was hoping to find in a partner.
Between the high volume of bots and the lack of quality matches, I do not believe this service is worth the cost of a premium subscription. I would suggest looking elsewhere if you are seeking a serious, safe, and authentic dating experience

PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBSCRIBING
This week I downloaded the Christian Mingle dating app. Everything was going well as far as meeting and talking to some men. About two days in the entire website must have gone down because I could log in. Then yesterday I had been blocked from my account right after sending to someone I was talking to. I have tried to reach out in several ways to get support with no avail. Their contact support button leads to a page saying that their site is currently down for maintenance.. I also tried emailing them to the email address that they offer with no response. I looked them up on Instagram and decided not to try there because they haven’t been active on that page for a couple of years.. And I looked them up on Facebook and the last time they posted on Facebook was this past February. I still sent a message just in case there, but there has been no response. This morning I tried sending a reply back to the original email I had received when I first signed up and I automated email response that they were forwarding that email. I’m hoping they will do so and restore my account. I did pay for a three month membership. However, I am going to go back to Apple, and see if I can get a full refund. As it hasn’t even been a week using this app! This is not just the app. This is also online on their website through a computer. Please be careful, you may want to just move on instead of wasting your money and time! If anything happens, there is no one to help!

Blocked Without Explanation or Appeal
I maintained an account for several months. I had no matches and never exchanged messages with anyone. One day I found my account had been blocked for ‘activity that may not align with our guidelines.’ When I contacted support, they told me their system had detected ‘inconsistencies’ but would not explain what those were and said there is no appeal process. I understand platforms need moderation, but permanently blocking an account without identifying the issue or providing any meaningful review process left me very disappointed.

Improved, but ignores settings
While there are cosmetic improvements to the app from the last time I used it, it is the worst dating app I’ve used. Every time I login I have to re-save my data collection permissions, it ignores the filters I set, it is slow and there are a lot of abandoned profiles. I’m also not convinced that the app actually shows you anyone who liked your profile or show any one you liked your profile, and at nearly $50/ month to find that out for sure and to see my likes is entirely to expensive. Deleting the app and likely will not try it again unless the experience is greatly improved

Uncomfortable
I did not have it downloaded very long because I felt like they asked too many personal questions. Even wanting to know what church I go to and know the town I live in. For these dating apps, I only see the state that I live in for safety purposes. You never know what intentions people may have. They might say their question, but their intentions say otherwise. With the information they were wanting me to give anyone at any time could come and find me without my knowledge.
