Chatting should be a basic feature
I downloaded this yesterday and I woke up to someone who likes my profile and they left an intro. I couldn’t find a way to respond and honestly I was confused so k was looking it up on google. But then I realized I need a subscription to be able to respond; and I feel like I’m ghosting the guy even though I quite literally just can’t talk to him. Personally I find that ludicrous, the reason you go on a dating app is to find people that you have common ground with, talk to them, and maybe get into a relationship. Do I just have to hope that the person I like also likes me? Or do I just have to hope they have a subscription just so we can maybe chat and it ends up not working out anyway? Genuinely how am I going to expect to meet someone when I can’t even answer their question without paying an absurd amount of money? And even then the subscription doesn’t give you much in the first place. I would be all for a subscription if it gave me more OR was cheaper.

Gets banned for not living in a high density area
I installed the app like a month ago, there was only 15 or so girls in my area that were around my age. Once I had gotten through all of them and there was nothing left I deleted the app shortly after and reinstalled it today. I then got banned while using the app because my login history was “suspicious” the only thing suspicious here is how you think that someone deleting the app after realising there’s no one in the area is suspicious. I’m just gonna go back to hinge.

Do not try this
Very limited .
Low options.
First, the subscription price is $70 a month! That’s insane. You only have that one option for subscription and they don’t offer discounted “bundles” like the use too. You can have the free membership but can’t see who likes you or message with matches, so the free membership is pointless. You can only search in your country.

Too Many Scammers
I met four people on this all in less than two months. Three were scammers. Two used stolen photos. One of those two asked me for money. The other I caught in a lie. The third person used AI generated photos so I didn’t even bother talking to him. The fourth seemed like a real person and we arranged to meet but then he just quit talking. This app doesn’t do enough to try to weed out scammers. They could add facial recognition software which compares your face to you photo so at least you know the person setting up the account is the person in the profile photo. They should also require you to allow the app to access your phone’s location and require that location to be used when setting up a profile. These two things would go a long way to eliminating some of the scammers.

No Pictures
Nine out of 10 women on this app do not have pictures. I don’t believe it is because they didn’t want to upload. But I think the app has a hard time loading the pictures.
Terrible app and UX
This was a complete waste of $50! I lost matches I liked and then couldn’t ever get them back. I liked someone in my Recommended list and the also disappeared and I had no idea why. Couldn’t find an explanation in the help guide. Then when trying to figure out what one of the icons meant in Discover tried to exit out of it and it liked someone I’d never like and there was no way to undo that, so I had to just cancel my account after a few days even though I paid. I also didn’t like how you receive a limited list of recommendations and then have to wait 24 hours or more to see another batch. You can’t just search profiles at your own pace, rather you’re served up potential matches in small batches. Then you have to waste time just going through the Discover which is full of people you’d never want to match with based on what you’re looking for. All the people liking me were wait out of my location requirements, too. The logic and the UX just weren’t working for me, so I’m moving to another app.

Disappointed
I decided to pay for the premium but I will probably cancel when the month is up. I opened up all my filters and still not getting many people in the discover section and basically 0-1 in the recommended when it is suppose to be 10. Feel like I’m paying for something I’m not getting. It will often said me a notification that there is a like but no one is there. Definitely think the app is missing some features especially for an expensive subscription.

This is full of fake profiles!!!
Why does it keep recommending people far away?
I put 39 miles max, and it keeps recommending people who live 3 plus hours away. Why?
Not sure it’s possible to match w/o paying
The actual app interface has greatly improved since the last time I used it. However, a large number of the profiles, appear to be abandoned, duplicates, or fake. Despite the dozen or so like I received, none of those profiles seem to have come across the discovery feed for me to view. I did send more likes on this app than any other, but again, I have no idea how many of those profiles have been abandoned, or if they’re even seeing my profile. Sure I could pay to see my likes, but not at $50/mo. That’s nearly 5 times the cost of a subscription to most streaming services.

Horrible
Encountered a system error which resulted in my profile being blocked by the application and upon contacting customer support I was told that it was final even if it is a mishap on their part. Glad I didn’t spend $50 on a monthly membership when this is how they treat new user of their application. Didn’t even have a profile for 24 hours.

Do not use this app! I’m already three months into it and have gotten no new updates since I started. There are better dating sites than this app. I repeat turn away. Do not download this app. It is the worst app for dating! I paid six months to be a part of this dating app. I have nothing but regret after signing up. It appears that in my area there are no members who have paid for this app so they’re sending me to outside of the state that is beyond the distance I put in for preference. I continue to get the same recommendations daily. It says it will update but never does. Now I’m waiting out my six months before I delete this app.
Update I’m in the last month of my six months. I finally am getting matches. However, I find out that the matches are coming from silver singles, not Christian mingle. Do not use this dating site. They are such a scam and if you’ve signed up for silver singles and Christian Mingle, you just wasted your money because they’re one of the same.

Bad App
Wants to track data from phone for no purpose other than to sell your data to firms. Look elsewhere for your dating. Much more respectful apps at it pertains to your privacy and your wallet.

just tried using the new app and i’ve been blocked twice. the first time was immediate upon login. the second was after being verified. i don’t understand.

Guys… 70 bucks cad for premium is way too much for this. Allowing 10 free likes to persuade people to buy it won’t work.
