Bug issue
The effects page does not work anymore. I’ve reached out to customer support numerous times and they do nothing. Whoever is in charge of the app needs to fix this bug.
Effects Screen Stopped Loading
Effects page no longer loads. No fix, no update. Has a lot of potential, but layout isn’t very user friendly.
Can be more intuitive
When powering on, the lights flicker through and eventually one stays on. Repeats until all the lights are on. Kind of a cool effect, even if only 3 colors stay lit. Downloading app and connecting via Bluetooth was super easy.
Realize that the “Atmosphere” selection at the bottom only gives you one solid color. To get pre-loaded effects, from the “Home” menu at the bottom, you need to select the strand you want to control (“Concave…” for me). Then you can select “Effects” which has a ton of options. You can also go to “DIY” and set up your own. Other options like “Schedule” and “Color” are also located there.
Takes a little work to get rolling, but it does seem to have a lot of options and customization possibilities.

Horrible
It only changes to blue, purple and green. Doesn’t go to white or yellow like I wanted to match my decor
