Does not show Criterion cover art
Response from developer
Sorry about that, and thanks for the honest feedback. Cinecase can show the right cover: open the film, tap its cover art, then Browse artwork for other posters or take a photo to show your actual Criterion sleeve. Scans start from the distributor's art, so that step is what fixes it. Questions: canadiliansoft@gmail.com
Great Start But…
I love the look of the app and everything looks really great on the bookshelf. I paid for pro and the options and variety are nice for the bookshelf colors.
Box sets and TV shows are also very hit or miss. I have 21/22 Jump Street in a 4k steelbook. I had to give up as the barcode didn’t work and the manual search wasn’t doing it. In comparison, I am coming from using “My Movies” by Blu-ray.com and that nails it 98% of the time. It’s just not as pretty.

Thanks, this is genuinely useful. A one-time "always share" option is a fair ask and it's going on the list of improvements! Barcode hit rate grows with the shared database, so your 150 scans help everyone after you. Appreciate the feedback!
The Best Movie Collection App!

Thank you, that is a great thing to read. Word of mouth is the only marketing Cinecase has, so a review like this genuinely helps. I am still working on the scan side and on a few things collectors keep asking for. If anything ever bugs you, Settings, Contact support comes straight to me.

Thanks for the kind words and for the honesty. Scanning is the weak spot right now: Cinecase matches barcodes against a shared database that is still filling in, especially for older and boutique discs. When nothing comes back, use Add manually and search by title. That fix is shared, so that disc scans for everyone next time.
