About

Circular Events is the staff companion app for the Circular.eco platform. It runs the front line at collection events — checking in registrants, adding walk-ins, and counting vehicles through the gate. CHECK IN REGISTRANTS Search the roster by name, email, or organization. An A–Z scrub rail gets you through a list of hundreds in seconds. Filter to see who is still expected or who has already come through, and open any registrant for their full details. ADD WALK-INS Someone arrives without registering? Add them on the spot, capturing the fields that particular event is configured to require. COUNT VEHICLES A large, glanceable tap target counts cars through the gate, with live pace per minute, projected volume for the next hour, and peak so far. Sessions resume where they left off if the app is closed, and a full history is a tap away. WORKS WITHOUT A SIGNAL Collection events happen in parking lots, transfer stations and rural drop sites where coverage is unreliable. Check-ins and car counts are written to the device first and queued. The roster and event list are cached and served when the network is unavailable. Everything syncs automatically when the connection returns, so nothing is lost and nobody waits on a spinner. BUILT FOR THE FIELD High-contrast type and generous tap targets for bright sunlight and gloved hands. Left- and right-handed layouts for the counter. Works on iPhone and iPad. Circular Events requires an account on the Circular.eco platform and is intended for staff and volunteers of organizations that run collection events. It is not a consumer application — members of the public register for events on the web.
