No longer works

All calls get cancelled right away. It’s broken

Horrible design and implementation

We got this piece of trash at work and i was excited until I started using it. Calls randomly don’t go through. Sometimes people cant hear you when you answer. The interface is utter trash. You have to log in every 2 -3 days but it doesn’t show that you have to do so, it just doesn’t work. It doesn’t respect the iPhone do not disturb settings. Multiple taps to do anything. If you have any choice at all run away!

Horrible

Drops calls constantly, and then takes forever to reconnect. Not good when working with patients.

Problem for years

Wont answer first call.

Constantly Hangs

This app hangs on the title screen and/or while importing native contacts almost 100% of the time. I can tell I’ve received a call but I can’t actually get the app to complete its opening processes to retrieve any information.

Death by Update

I have been using Jabber for a long time. Organization is 1000+ employees. When in the field I can look up any person in our organization. Love it. Problem is when an update is done on the system side our IT has to spend weeks to get it to work again. Might as well go back the contact index cards like the old days.

Doesn’t work

I’ve tried for a week now working with my works IT support to get this app to work on my iPhone 17 pro max…. I updated the iOS, deleted apps, on their side they reconfigured everything multiple times. I have deleted and reinstalled the app numerous times. Still nothing. The app closes immediately once I am logged in. I can’t even click anything. This app is horrible and useless.

Terrible Connectivity

Not consistent at all. If you use the phone a lot, be prepared for features to not work such as not receiving calls, conferencing not working, dropping calls, audio not coming through and generally unreliable app

Needs work

This app keeps logging me out and it’s VERY inconvenient for work. It also integrates calls with my personal phone call log and it doesn’t give me an option to stop it from doing that. I previously used 3CX and Jabber could really learn a lot from them. Transfer calls is also difficult for no reason. They should make it possible to transfer directly to VM with one click and not having to dial the entire extension number.

Ios

On iPhone, Jabber disconnects when the app is not in the foreground, which causes the connection to drop. This is a significant issue.

Test updates in your lab!

The previous week the latest update crashed Android devices and now their recent update crashed iOS

Garbage app

It’s been years since I wrote the comment below they STILL haven’t fixed it!
———-
1. Cisco refuses to fix a problem that has been ongoing for several years — Jabber will not ring unless the app is active (ok), but it must be the focus and the phone can not be in sleep mode.

I HATE this garbage app and the fact that Cisco refuses to fix problems!

Disconnects frequently requires restarting

Have hard time using it almost everyday. Requires either restarting the cart or the app.

Call drop

Calls drop too often

App not running background

Calls are not getting when screen is locked this means app is not running in background for iOS devices pls help us

Inventory Control

The app would be worlds better if it stayed alive instead of closing automatically after not being used for a while. The whole point of the app is to be able to still connect to the Cisco network while being on the go. Android doesn’t have this issue, just IOS. The app is basically useless if it’s going to be “log out” after I lock my phone.
