Needs Updating
Seems like this app hasn’t been updated in six years. Sometimes it won’t even recognise my watch when it’s actually connected. An update would be really appreciated Citizen.
Citizen Dropped the Ball
I paid a hefty sum for the watch this app connects to, but Citizen chose to screw over their customers by not supporting the app. At least it worked for a little while. Now I have an expensive and pretty but useless timepiece. Never again.
Citizen proximity
J'ai envoyé ma montre pour mettre à jour la version de proximity. Ne se connecte plus sur mon iPhone 8 avec proximity v 2.5. En attente d'une réponse du centre technique de citizen. Suite: Après avoir pris mon numéro car incapable de me répondre, le technicien ne m'a jamais rappelé. Plus de 30 jours se sont écoulés depuis. Je suis prioritaire de quelques Citizen. Pas de danger d'acheter une de plus maintenant.

La montre est superbe , mais l'application médiocre.
No longer a smart watch
I have a citizen w760 and it never paired with Bluetooth on my new iPhone 7 or my old iPhone 5s after updates. I suggest citizen to steer away from smart watches altogether as it doesn't pair at all. I paid over $400 for a watch that doesn't get proper apps or updates. Acts the same way as a $30 watch would now.

Doesn't work
Love the watch but hate the app. Will not update firmware. Citizen should be embarrassed.

Can this app be used for iPhone 6s+? Unable to pair watch with phone

Whilst the Citizen site says use this app, it should be removed as does not work!!!!! It should say use "Citizen Bluetooth App"
Can not connect to watch
Watch does not show on Bluetooth settings screen and 1.0 app crashes. This one just will not connect.

Disconnects once or twice a day while still in proximity. Otherwise it works just fine. It's just a tad annoying to have to reconnect at random times.

Not connecting since 9.2.1 don't know if it's the new iOS which is causing issues.
Needs work
I got this watch and app combo and while occasionally it does work, it seems flaky... Someone at Citizen needs to spend some time on getting this right.
Not acceptable from CITIZEN very poor
I got this as a gift "smartwatch" in 10/15 to date if i have a weeks worth of service from the smart Notification bit of this then it....... The only notification i get off the is the connection terminated ones, other than that is only serves as a time teller. I have sent it to the service centre 03/16 who tried their best, because when it returned i got 1 days worth of useful notifying after which it stopped working, I started using the on a 5s now I am on 6s the problem persists. THIS IS WORSE THAN A CHEAP CHINESE KNOCKOFF for they would put more effort into getting it work.

No updates since early 2014
Won't work with iPhone 6. No attempt by Citizen to update app and support watch or customers. Very disappointing as it's a beautiful looking watch.
Reinstall solved 9.2 issues
A reinstall of the app seems to have solved the issues related to the upgrade.
Works perfectly
I don't know what other people are saying but it works perfectly for me and is a lot better than the previous version of this app. Watch remains connected and even when the rare disconnection happens, it just reconnects itself so it's like I never even knew it disconnected for a few seconds. Very nice now that it alerts on text messages as well, now my citizen proximity watch has all the features i want out of a watch. 1 star off because i wish this watch could have health stuff like a pedometer and/or heartbeat sensor

This app is horrible and the watch does not connect.
Need improvement
This app has room for improvement. Even though the basic functions works as expected (except frequent disconnection prompt) Citizen can include more new features like notification for Whatsapp and can include an Alarm function (alarm time can be set in watch and watch can be triggered to vibrate). Also app can be programmed to show timer from watch in Chrono mode. UI of this app can be improved a lot as well, since buyers who pay $495 for this watch deserve a better app. Overall a very average app which needs a lot of improvement.

Needs support
It's a good concept but it's rough around the edges. Keeps sending Link Loss notifications even when it is perfectly connected. I've always bought and have 20 Citizen watches for the quality and service. However the last update for this app and watch was in March 2014 which doesn't fill me with confidence. Seems like Citizen were just experimenting with this watch at our expense.

Intermittent Connection and notification issues
A really good idea, a shame about the intermittent disconnections and failure to notify when a call or text comes in (I am using an iphone 6). I hope an update can resolve the apparent disconnection issues and make it more reliable
