Impossible to use it again
I haven’t used this service for couple years because I didn’t travel.
Now I wanted to use but it is a nightmare to update phone number.
It’s not 1996, it’s 2026 and you keep asking to send email in order to update the phone number.
If you are traveling from another country and had old Citybee account you are out of luck. You can’t update it and you can’t create a new one because the driver’s license is still associated with the old account.
Terrible design. Extreme waste of time and horrible customer experience.

Compared to the onerous and bureaucratic car hire system in the Uk - this was like heaven!! Highly recommended.
SMS verification
I am experiencing an issue with the verification process. I am not receiving the SMS verification code, which prevents me from accessing my account. The support team attempted to help by sending a code via email, but unfortunately, that code does not work either.
This situation is quite frustrating, as it leaves me without a reliable way to complete verification. I would strongly recommend improving the verification system by making it more flexible and dependable. For example, it would be helpful to expand beyond SMS and include alternative methods such as authenticator apps, backup codes, or other secure verification options.
Enhancing the system in this way would greatly improve the user experience and prevent similar issues in the future.
