Another poor performing app
I was forced to download this app and retire my kdfc app for no good reason other than to satisfy the marketing department. The new app doesn’t work and is so poorly designed that the icon that is supposed to connect to my speakers is on top of the volume indicator. And after repeated tries, still doesn’t work. See you KDFC, it’s back to WFCC despite them having less agreeable programming!

Chatty ego and i cold L.D. who insists on repeating Her name
Please ask her to be more humble and human. And Her selections appear to be only what She is interested in and opinionated about. The softness of the evening is gone when I hear “ hello and welcome…”
Great but stalls
I love the app and being able to listen to KUSC anywhere – but the stream is not very stable. Constantly stopped stalled.
Tune out when it’s time for L Downs
How many times must we hear L Downs name or her promotion of herself and her piano music . Am I wrong? Since the departure of Jim S. the station seems to have taken a strange turn. I listen all the time. But find other venues when she is on. The evening softness is gone and her ego is just overwhelming .

Very good but the programs are repetitive
The program and streams seems to rotate a full cycle playing the same songs every day rather than daily different music with some spoken word between music repeated 2-3 times at times and tunes, particularly in the great escape, is VERY repetitive
A Joyful Noise is church for me on Sunday morning
Your beautiful music got me through the pandemic. That’s when I became a sustaining member. I live alone, and the first thing I do every morning is ask Alexa to play KUSC. It’s my companion throughout the day, and A Joyful Noise is my two hours of zen on Sunday morning.
Can’t stream KUSC anymore
I noticed that the app on my iPhone was updated 2 days ago, which is exactly when the KUSC stream via IHeartRadio stopped playing via my Echoes, in the middle of the day. I just tried the app but although it shows it as playing, there is no sound. The app also asked me to let it access my music library for some reason and I said no. It never asked me for that before.
I also tried streaming KUSC via the IHeartRadio app on my Roku and got a “content not available” message.
Alexa says that it’s having trouble playing the station right now.
I also am not able to hear anything if I pull up the website in Safari or Chrome and hitting the play button makes it spin endlessly.
Their website doesn’t say anything about having technical difficulties and i don’t want to open a ticket because they want my phone number and I don’t want to give it out, so hopefully someone from there is checking the reviews.
