Unbeatable for classic music
IDAGIO gets all the most important things right. It has a vast catalogue of music, their app is specifically tailored to how you would expect to browse and search classical works, and it’s lossless. The curated content, moods, and written content is very good to help you discover and learn. I’d love more of this written content and curated stuff.
The team that makes IDAGIO is small and very responsive to questions; they love what they do and it shows.
I have two small criticisms, which I hope they can fix. First, when you switch out of the app and come back it reloads. This makes the app a bit slow to re-open and it can lose your position on the track you were listening to. Second, there is no cloud account sync: so I can’t listen on my phone and then hand off what I was listening to on my Mac.

The Best
IDAGIO is the preeminent streamer for classical music. It is easy to navigate and I really like the way it sets out all the recordings available for particular work.
Nice app for classical music!
I’ve been subscribing to IDAGIO for several years now. It’s easier than some other apps to locate specific recordings and the library is substantial. I use their playlists a lot to explore recordings I wouldn’t otherwise run across. Even though the search capabilities are better than some music streaming services, I wish it were easier to accomplish an “advanced” search, like being able to specify title, opus, number, AND performer.

Finally, a Streaming Service That Understands Classical Music
IDAGIO is easily one of the best classical music streaming services available. The sound quality is excellent, the search function is tailored to classical music, and it's easy to compare different recordings of the same work. I particularly appreciate the well-curated playlists and the ability to browse by composer, work, performer, and conductor. A must-have app for classical music lovers.
