Nice app for classical music!
I’ve been subscribing to IDAGIO for several years now. It’s easier than some other apps to locate specific recordings and the library is substantial. I use their playlists a lot to explore recordings I wouldn’t otherwise run across. Even though the search capabilities are better than some music streaming services, I wish it were easier to accomplish an “advanced” search, like being able to specify title, opus, number, AND performer.

Finally, a Streaming Service That Understands Classical Music
IDAGIO is easily one of the best classical music streaming services available. The sound quality is excellent, the search function is tailored to classical music, and it's easy to compare different recordings of the same work. I particularly appreciate the well-curated playlists and the ability to browse by composer, work, performer, and conductor. A must-have app for classical music lovers.

The Idagio content and quality is great. I really like the robust search function. However, I find the “Moods” section of the app very frustrating! The only way to see the mood options are to slide your finger in a circle to see different labels pop up and disappear. Gimmicky, but not practical! Please, just make all the mood labels visible at the Sam time (buttons?) so that we can just tap the mood we want. It would be much, faster, simpler, and more straightforward for users.

Cast to Alexa
Please, in an upcoming update for Idagio make it so it can be with Alexa without the necessity of trying to do it through a Bluetooth so from an iPhone device such as an iPhone 17 Pro to Alexa

Benchmark of classical music apps
A huge variety of music. Discovered many tracks from known composers which I wasn’t aware of. Grate for listening and completeness.
Excellent selection of music but…
The selection of music in the catalog is excellent, and the app functionality, search, navigation and streaming quality is good.
My main issue, which causes me to deduct two stars, is that the app often freezes when it is reopened- I am not 100% certain but I believe this is related to network connection changes, for example, moving from Wi-Fi to cellular.
The other problem is that if I am playing a selection on the iPhone app, and move to the car, and open the app on (wireless) Apple CarPlay, it loses context of what I was playing, In other words the “currently playing” icon at the top right of my CarPlay screen is missing. The app also sometimes freezes in this situation. I have to quit and then reopen it to recover.
Both these issues are pretty annoying.

Hands down the best app for classical music
Finding apps with this much range and recordings for classical music is rare- especially when it comes to finding your favourite composers and recordings from your favourite artists, including new work. If I had anything to say, I wish it was more user friendly and easier to create a collection of your own favourite albums/works, apple music and spotify, for example, hold personal collections incredibly important. Also easier/more obvious to access the location of a movement within its album/larger work if, for example, you’re listening to it on the radio. Finally, sometimes when you look up the title of a work, it does not immediately appear and you have to scroll for a while- this is especially true for composers with a large output like Bach.
In the future it would be cool to be able to access more videos of the orchestras performing too maybe.

Such a brilliant product, I find myself always exploring the editors picks and extending knowledge of new and old performers from everywhere
The best music streaming app
By far. I only would like to ask, is it not possible to make it work with Alexa? I was given an Alexa, but it is useless for me without Idagio integration.

I’ve tried a few music apps and have always been disappointed. IDAGIO is far and away the best. It plays the music I want to listen to without mixing the tracks up or playing something different before my choice. I feel confident in recommending IDAGIO, it’s the one I’ll stick with.
