I listen often while driving and sometimes in bed. The music is wonderful, and I learn a lot from the different hosts about the composers and musicians. It feels like a very personal experience—not packaged and syndicated. Highly recommend!

The app stops playing…
While using Apple CarPlay every two minutes or so the app stops playing. It doesn’t matter if the 5G signal is strong. The app just stops. Hitting play starts it again but then it just stops again.
GRATITUDE
I live in Danbury, CT, but KDFC is my choice. There is little or no competition and I am so grateful for your presence on the worldwide web.There are other stations, but there is generally too much chatter or classical music is a “part-time” feature in the station’s programming. The voices of your “DJs” are similar to the choicest wines. I have also found the diversity of selections an education in the complexity and beauty of the music. It is a class in musicology that I missed in my education. I am also very impressed by the support KDFC garners from businesses large and small, as well as from individuals far and wide. I recommend the station to all of my friends. Although I am not wealthy, I donate within my means and I encourage other listeners to do the same. How do I turn off the sound when I close the app??? I love the music and the station but it’s so annoying when I can’t get it to stop!!! There’s no hint anywhere!
Brilliant Christmas Program
KDFC has excellent programming, especially their 24/7 Christmas channel. I live in Texas and enjoy this programming so much. Thanks to KDFC, I have access to a wonderful selection of musical pieces in my home, car, or wherever I travel.

Always good music
I’ve been listening for over 30 years, great station. Good music and I enjoy the commentary, which dates to their days as commercial radio. I’m glad they’ve kept their subtle sense of humor.
Wonderful music. Simple clean app
I love the simplicity of the app. This station is great for work or relaxing. A somewhat hidden gem is the multiple channel options in the app. Really enjoy the Arcade channel.
Stops streaming too often
I love KDFC. I’ve been listening to them for almost 30 years and even though I’ve long since moved away from the Bay Area, I still listen to KDFC. The app drops its stream every few minutes now and it’s practically unusable. I basically stopped using the app and listen to KDFC through my Apple Music’s “radio stations”.

Wonderful variety
I’ve been a loyal listener of the station for almost 40 years. They play a broad and lovely selection of classical music. With the app, not only do I have fantastic sound quality regardless of my location, but they have a variety of streams that they offer including video game music, a Christmas stream, and interesting anecdotes about the music along the way.

For anyone whose love for classical music has deep-running roots, KDFC streaming through the afternoon can bring only joy. Delightful selections present a variety of tones and tunes, and commentary by excellent “DJs” broaden my knowledge of the composers and their historical periods. Drops out constantly
I wish I could love the app but the amount of times it cuts out is ridiculous. I don’t have this problem with other streaming apps at all.
