Great deal
What a great deal for a plethora of healthy recipes. I am so grateful for the affordability and how much they offer! It truly is a treasure. I also love being able to save my recipes in categories so I can browse breakfasts and dinner options separately.

This app includes great recipes. But it no longer allows you to scan your food to input things not on their plan. Please bring this feature back

Love this app. Love this food. My only suggestion is changing the app so users have the ability to choose their week start and end. That way, shopping lists can be more accurate.

Only able to track CSE food is pointless
I have used the app for years, mostly to track macros and to find yummy recipes. But ever since they changed it to just allow you to track CSE food, I haven’t used it. Planning on deleting and cancelling the subscription.

I used to absolutely love the Clean Simple Eats app for both the recipes and tracking meals. The new app update no longer allows for regular grocery items to populate automatically you have to add the item and it has made tracking way too time-consuming. I want so badly to continue supporting and clean simple eats but just can’t when there are other apps that make tracking so much more simple and accessible.

Still good but
I have had this app and loved it for years! The recipe options are phenomenal, the ease of use is great, and the recipes themselves are so delicious, my family and I often return to our old favorites. My one complaint is that with the new update, I can no longer track random foods; it is limited to their specific recipes. Which, for $1 a month, isn’t a huge deal, but now I am forced to use different apps when this one used to cover all my needs.

Delightful
The protein is absolutely delicious and it grainy at all! I use Fairlife because I’m lactose intolerant and it’s so tasty with it! My favorite is the birthday cake!

While the app is nice and reasonably priced, I am having some trouble navigating a few things such as how to save the workout and save the water intake ect. And I have questions about food intake. I have emailed twice and no response so not sure I’ll stay with the app.
Another example of a good app gone downhill
Used to track all my food with app because it was simple and easy to scan a barcode or search for food I was eating. Now they only want you tracking their meals/recipes and removed food searching and barcode scanning.
Just like all their products, they’re making changes for the worse and keep saying they’re “listening” to their customers.

No bar code scanner anymore
This app is great. It became my all in one. Taking away the bar code scanner is a big loss. I miss being able to scan ingredients/items to add to my tracker in seconds.
Best tasting
Love all the flavors and especially the single packs options. Just want to throw out there I’d love a blueberry muffin flavor!
Bring back the scan
It used to be the absolute best and have everything all in one place. Their recipes and macro calculations. But eliminating the ability to scan a product to track or simply type in "apple" or something has made this app worthless.

I keep trying to buy some protein powder but the app won’t let me it says my email is invalid
Annoyed by the update
I have used this app off and on over the years and loved it. I came back to it recently after having a baby, and I’m very annoying by the update that I can no longer scan barcodes or search branded food. This was a useful feature that they took away. I’m still giving 2 stars because I like their recipes.

Very disappointed in app updates
I loved having this app and was okay with paying the $1.07 to have it. But lately I haven’t been able to scan anything to track my food. I use this to help with medication and other stuff I have to be doing. I would really really love to have the scan feature back on this app or I will have to find a different app.

“Literally 1 of the Best Apps Ever” Now Bad
I literally wrote a glowing review previously but just came back and noticed CSE Removeeddddd the option to track non-CSE meals?????? Then why do I even need the app??? This sucks!!! One star for you
Prior Review: Who knew an app’s UX could be so useful and intuitive??? The people who developed this app deserve a raise and some kind of an award! I truly love the app! Not only because it has great features like calorie counting and daily planning, etc, but also because it’s veryyyyy reasonably priced, customizable, and very intuitive! I’d love to learn who thought of this and invented it!!! It’s awesome!!! It makes the planning process to reach my goal of losing weight much much easier!

Disappointed
I took a few months off using the app. Just came back today and am extremely disappointed that u can’t scan an item to track any longer. That was the best feature and the main reason I chose to use this app. Deleting my app and subscription.
