How does this app possibly have 4.6 stars? Compared to other banking apps this app is junk. Buggy, missing loads of features that other banks have, constant login problems, logs me out constantly, often the app is offline. It’s garbage

I like the security offered by going through my credit union! They have great customer service and could teach a few companies a thing or two!

Glitch
Good app but it has a new glitch where I can deposit in app, just says “requires full screen” with no other buttons to press or options… please fix this it’s a great app otherwise
New web layout not user friendly
I prefer the previous online banking layout where I could see my account and all the transactions for the previous month on one screen.

Inconsistent App (great bank)
Bank is great - staff are amazing. I wish I had better things to say about the app though: it’s extremely slow, unreliable with no wifi - even with good data packages; it inconsistently logs me in and out while using the app (I have “keep me logged in” checked); has weird errors (lists three credit cards when I have two); and has an extremely glitchy and rudimentary user interface.

Consistency Can Be Good!
But - not when many retailers tell me they “always have problems with the green Coastal Community debit cards. Our customers often have to insert their card and enter their passcode in order to pay for merchandise because the tap function just doesn’t effing work.”

I have been a member of Coastal Community Credit Union ever since I arrived in Nanaimo in 1979…I tried a couple of other banking institutions as well for a few years but dropped them for several reasons. I have never been disappointed with the various services I have used at Coastal Community Credit Union.

Other banks
The BC Credit Union I think is the mother of all our credit Unons her and are responsible for our on line services and technology. When I compare them to the other banks they are always years ahead! Yes I said years. Photo cheques instead of returning the actual check was the first start of it all and they started that pegs as much as 5 or 10 years before others! Keep it up, it’s wonderful!

This app is a headache to use compared to other banking apps I own. Nothing saves like my Face ID and password, logs me out all the time while using it. Just an overall pain to use
almost never works
this app gives me an error message EVERY TIME i open it, and it will continue to do so forever. Solution? open the app and close it about 3 times and it MIGHT eventually let you log in… or switch to another bank… like RBC!
Can’t see whole picture
I do not like the way the material is set up. I would like to see a payment an balance in the same frame. It is impossible to see the account balance or amount owing
From now on I want a mailed statement where I can see everything on the same page. Also this nickname search to send this message is ridiculous.
