Bait and hook

The app says that you get a three day free trial and that you will not be charged until after the free trial has ended as soon as I put in for the free trial they charge me $49.99 ahead of time before I even began to use the app. I tried to get a refund back but they refused to give it to me. This is bait and hook. This is rude and poor business now I’m stuck with something I don’t want for &49.99 for the year which is extremely expensive for an app.

Very interesting,
Just checking this out to see if it recognizes error coins. Which are worth more than other coins. I have a nice collection of coins to scan and check the value of each on. Pretty cool actually.

The identifier is not always accurate obviously which is annoying also every time you click anywhere they ask you to rate them and it’s really annoying so here’s your rating. Other than that I like having a digital record of my coins

“Free” with a catch

This is listed in the Apple App Store as free, but it’s only free to download. To use it, you have to subscribe once the free 3-day trial ends. That feels like bait-and-switch to me.

Each coin ID contains a caveat that essentially says that whatever value the app gives to the coin may not be valid, which makes me wonder why I should bother. Just take the coins to a dealer.
