This is not for easy quick translations that will help you get through the airport. This is a real French dictionary for people who want to learn different forms of speech, conjugations and colloquial expressions. Those things make this app extremely valuable for the serious learner of French.

Excellent, easy to read. Lots of online dictionaries, but this stands out for ease of use and is well worth it

Pas d’utilité au delà du collège. Pas d’expressions anglaises typiques, encore moins d’américaines. Ergonomie quelconque. Sans intérêt.

Disappointing
A too concise dictionary really only suitable for beginners to intermediates. Too many words missing—for which you have to go to the free Reverso website. Also hard to get out of the verbs and back to the main dictionary.
Quelques améliorations à faire
Assez bon dictionnaire. Dommage qu’on ne puisse pas consulter l’historique des mots recherches qu’en relançant l’application car une fois une recherche lancée, impossible de revenir en arrière
Collins dictionary
I love this dictionary. It is very handy when I’m reading my French novels …so fast! Being able to Bookmark vocabulary that I want to review later is very helpful, and the verb conjugating feature is so powerful. i’ve used this Collins dictionary app for years now and wouldn’t be without it. A one off purchase, so very affordable.

Good, but glitchy
Great dictionary, but glitchy. If I’m listening to something in French, and I open the dictionary to look something up, the audio stops. I’ve tried everything, it’s an issue with the app itself. Please fix in the next update thanks.
There is no pronounciation
If you are a beginner who are learning French pay attention that the app doesn’t have the function of pronounciation. It means you will not hear how to read the words or sentences.

Ne fait que traduire, ne définit même pas les mots. Ce n’est donc qu’un traducteur (qui certes présente la grammaire également) et non un dictionnaire

Je croyais avoir acheté l’application le Grand Robert et Collins , mais erreur. Le contenu du dictionnaire n’a rien à voir. C’est une pâle version du Grand Robert et Collins. Je souhaiterais être remboursé.

Bien conçu et très pratique
Le texte est clairement lisible et facilement accessible. Le vocabulaire riche. Ensemble très bien conçu. Logiciel très pratique pour les voyages et la vie quotidienne même pour un angliciste confirmé.

No publisher support...no recommendation
Expensive, but excellent product I thought would last me for many years. Little did I know I would have to change computers and Collins would not let me transfer the program to my new one. I cannot ever recommend a product that the publisher will not support. Totally wasted $25...

Ok mais peut mieux faire
Je l’utilise depuis 5 ans. Pas de problèmes majeurs à signaler, fait le job. Cependant je donne 3 étoiles. Pourquoi ? Il faudrait plus de mots et des définitions plus complètes. Je cherche régulièrement des mots et il n’y sont pas. En cinq ans on ne peu pas dire qu’il y a eu de grandes améliorations. À améliorer donc.

Mots et explications manquent
Je ne trouve pas la traduction en français de « coldest » indiqué sur le contrôle de température de mon réfrigérateur et congélateur. Et je ne trouve pas non plus les définitions des suffixes -est, -er, -ness, -les et autres, ce qui m’aiderait. De plus, aucune explication quant à l’ajout d’un « s » aux verbes anglais à la troisième personne du singulier ou pluriel…..? un minimum de grammaire expliquée serait nécessaire pour le prix !!!

very limited vocabs
it wasn’t bad but i can’t believe many words are not in the dictionary. i couldn’t even search ‘faim’ , i.e. hungry from it.
