This app makes no sense. You upload a room and pick a color. Then, through guessing, you select your area. Then, nothing. No info on how to see the color in the area. Zippo. This isn’t user friendly.
The color visualization doesn’t work at all. This was a massive waste of my time and it didn’t help me at all.
This might be the most useless app I’ve ever downloaded. Cannot perform a single function correctly. Don’t download until they scrap this completely and build a real app
Downloaded the app. Downloaded a photo and now it’s unclear how to actually apply the potential paint colors to the photo
Not as good as other visualizers. Can’t paint more than one color and can’t zoom in to select shapes more easily. I like that I can see the colors I’ve selected in curated groups, but wish I could organize them.
When I submitted a photo of a vivid blue door, beige came up as the color match
I loved the color visualizer before it was updated. Please bring back the old version.
I have spent hours on this app (I am painting my entire house). It seems like they removed the ability to identify paint colours based on an image. I was using that to take colours from other paint brands or my own procreate designs and see what the closest Benjamin Moore colour was. They also made it harder (maybe impossible?) To search for a colour based on its LRV. This is a big loss for me because if you can find the right LRV needed for your space it is helpful to see the options. I doubt I will use this app much now and will probably go to plan.home instead.

Can’t save colors in the app after the update and navigation is anything but easy
Why did you have to update the app completely? This badly? Why doesn't the colour capture have its own area on the bar below? Why does the visualiser freeze after painting one colour from the shopping list, and why is the colour catalog have no way straight up to add colours from the shopping list? Why is the colour catalog now no longer have individual colours? Why is this app now horrible to use and so frustrating?!

I don’t understand how in the age of AI that I can’t take an image of an item and get a color analysis. This is the worst app ever. Is their job to provide color cards you get at the store or actually provide info so I can make a purchase? I think it’s funny that this is “ new and improved “ I hate to see previous iterations.

App is not well designed and not intuitive for the user. I used the photo visualizer to try to see my house painted different colors but it only allowed me to “paint” the house using a large circle wherever my finger went. My photo looked like a child had drawn all over it with marker. Paint color was also not even close to true color (I compared using paint swatches that I already had). Extremely unhelpful app.

The color visualizer is fine if you have a lot of spare time on your hands to play with a painting app. There’s no intelligence built in. You have to use little tedious painting tools.
This app is impossible to use. Cannot view ANY paint samples in my room at all. After 2 hrs, I give up.
I used this app to try and get the paint color of my new apartments living room to touch up the paint where I spackled a hole in the wall and now I’m down $50 on paint after 3 trips to different paint stores because the “Color Capture” feature in the app was wrong all 3 times I tried it and I now have to go back again to get more paint to fix the small paint job which now turned into a big paint job. Look elsewhere if you need to find out what color your paint is.

If I can get a decent photo, color Portfolio can match it!
This app should become a great tool for my painting business. As well, I’m having a good time using all of its functions to play with colors and design ideas.
The colors are so off that it makes this app completely useless.
The paintbrush logo covers the entirety of the door in the example inspiration photo, and when you go to save the example photo after selecting all the colors, the saved photo is the house before all the changes, with a list at the bottom of the colors. Entirely useless.
