Really Slow and didn’t give advice. You are never updated about your own account because never the transactions are in real time. If someone stolen your money you will know only if open the application

STOP ASKING ME! I made a review 8xs in the past 2 days bc there’s a glitch. App is slow and does not alert me to deposits or withdrawals.
Delayed
You receive information about your account only when open the app. Didn’t received notification instantly. Really slow all transactions. Can’t change the account to make payments and don’t have any help assistance
Zelle What?
The convenience of a mobile banking app goes flying through the window when I try to use the Zelle feature. Inconvenience is an understatement. Since I’ve had this, the Zelle option crashes the app. I have to delete the app, redownload it and sign in, set up Face ID all over again each time I want to send a Zelle payment. The first one goes through but after that, it crashes each time. This is beyond annoying and inconvenient. I expect more from my banking app. I’ve never had this issue with other banking mobile apps. Highly disappointed.

Zelle doesn’t work
If Zelle doesn’t work, banking with Columbia isn’t going to work for me. Hope this resolves.
Their mobile & online banking is very subpar
We have banked with Columbia Bank for a few years now. Their app and online systems usually reject our mobile deposits the 1st time we submit them, we don’t change a thing on the deposits, do it again the same exact way, then it accepts it.
When we try to transfer money out to our other accounts (already approved by Columbia and in the system) 50/50 chance it allows us. If it rejects, we try again and same process, again 50/50 chance for approval.
So according to Columbia, they don’t want money going in or coming out of their bank.
Luckily for us, we bank elsewhere and take the majority of our money out of Columbia these days.

Trash app
Doesn’t load half the time and sometimes says it’s unavailable. Notifications of transactions come days after transactions were actually made.

Very Personal bank. They know their customers and treat them well. Also the app is very user friendly.
Text receipt
I’ve always had text receipt on my phone at the ATM and now it’s not an option. What happened?
Widget for quick balance went away in iOS 18
App was good until iOS 18 and after that I no longer have the ability to use a widget to show my account balances without having to log into my account on the app.
Horrible for online banking
A great bank, but doing anything in the app is so much more complicated compared to other banking apps I’ve used like Chase or Ally. Zelle has a bunch of extra steps. A basic bank transfer to your other accounts becomes a complicated multi-step process. Their whole app and website will shut down for days at a time while they update their system. Seems like they need to bring their app into the modern era and streamline their technology, would not recommend if you do your banking on a phone a lot. Great for people who love to do banking only in-person.

Pretty frustrating bank
I’ve tried multiple times to use my card different places and each place I have to call Colombia and make sure the purchase goes through. Somehow my local Walmart is considered potential fraud.
Horrible Services and policies
Worst case of greed I’ve ever seen. I am closing my account. I refuse to pay for not maintains their set account balance. I have. Usaa account and another account for the same amount of years that I’ve maintained the Rahway account. The new cooperate greed charges, if the balance isn’t their standards. I can but I refuse. So I must say goodbye. I’m sure we won’t miss each other.

Not working correctly
The mobile deposit feature isn’t working correctly, you can’t take a picture of the check to complete the deposit .

The camera is not working correctly during mobile deposits. Since you can’t capture the check images, you can’t complete the deposit.
The worst banking app
Worst banking app out there. Deposits are nearly impossible. Always an error. You would think in this day and age they would be more proficient in the technology world.
