Best booking app for stylists!
I have had various booking software over the years. Comb is by far the best I’ve had. They are new and there are bugs and things to work out but I have never had a company make changes so fast. Everyone is requesting different features or additions to the software and it happens pretty quickly. I’ve not seen a platform as robust as this one unless you’re paying $100’s a month. So for an independent stylist, it is affordable AND customer service is on top of things. The vast amount of features & automations make my job easier so I can focus on working on clients vs all the admin. I highly recommend!

The features we all need
Extremely impressed by all of the features and how easy they are to use. I was with another booking software since 2014, and was slightly intimidated by the idea of having to learn a whole new system. I hadn’t even taken advantage of the features I had (not easy to figure out) and didn’t even realize I would have to pay more to take advantage of other features when I wanted to make changes to my business. Comb has all of these features for one flat rate and I was able to figure out how to customize them to my business. It was also so much easier for my clients to book and manage appointments. No complex login, no trying to figure out what to tap to find their appointments. Text checkout so I don’t have to hand my phone over or be forced to buy a reader. Forms, waivers, customizable deposits and reminder messages, marketing, pre and post appointment instructions. These were the top ones not offered by the other software unless I paid more, but there are so many more it’s too many to list.

ZERO customer service
There’s literally no way to get ahold of anyone. There’s a huge glitch and I’m not able to set up my account. I’m actively losing business as none of clients are able to book with me. I wish I could attach screen recordings to my review. There’s no customer support email or phone number. They offer a live chat but when you click on it, it says the link has expired.

Customer service is no existent.
Don’t expect any response from the CEO Michael after you have paid for the year. He gave his email address and told me to email if I had any questions. I’m going to another software this week. This has great potential. This software is not ready.
I was shocked at the customer service
I am autistic and don’t often fit in with norms, and I explained that at my demo. I was so in love with the services the CEO explained - but after he went over 15 minutes, I politely excused myself and asked to communicate later & he seemed fine. after 4 hours of transferring data, I was ready to purchase the year and the CEO blocked me on all platforms. i’ve never felt so alone and discouraged from an app developer and I can’t imagine how they treated someone who might find a glitch. just so disappointing and distasteful. not what this community nor industry needs.

I have used square and Gloss Genius. This platform for the Independent Hair Stylist is the best by far. Ive been a booth renter for a few years now. It took me a few days to get adjusted to every but any help or assistance I needed customer service has been the best and fast to respond. I love that they are listening to feedback on the little tweaks that us, the stylist are giving to make it ever better as well!

I switched over from square to comb works because I wanted something more focused towards independent hair stylist/salon. I’m very happy I made the switch it had a ton of great features and easy to use!
Worth the Switch!
My meeting with Mike was so informative and relax. He and his team are so helpful. The white glove service for switching from my other platforms was amazing even with having multiple different ones I was coming from. I absolutely love all of the features and how much they are open to new feature ideas to constantly make the app even better. And all for ONE monthly fee! Nothing is extra charges to use.

Best booking software hands down
I have been in the industry for over 8 years and used so many systems. But Comb is hands down the best. Not only is an easy to use but also it have features and options that makes any beauty professionals life booking easier! So happy I switched over.
Best salon software for the immense value
I’m a new stylist so the amount of work I have to do that would be considered busy work is a little more than someone who already has an established clientele as far as being on top of people to come back, selling retail and maintaining that relationship. This software takes all of that away from me and I’m able to automate it with my clients. The other part is that with this tool clients are only allowed to have one account with them throughout the entire software so you were able to see how other stylist have rated this client as far as no-shows go and the biggest thing being in inappropriate behavior or behavior that would otherwise not be considered acceptable. Everything I would want in a booking system, this has being that it’s also a smaller company. It is much easier to have changes that would be beneficial. As you are able to get in touch with the software developers, much easier than a larger company. I cannot recommend this tool enough for new stylist and can’t recommend it enough even more for an established stylist who is finding themselves inundated with busy work that doesn’t have to do with being behind the chair.

Recently switched from Vagaro and am absolutely loving everything about it! All of the AI features are amazing. The team is constantly in talk with all of the users and are always updating and adding features to make it even better! 10/10 recommend!
