Garbage app
If I could rate this app a 0 I would. This app is cheap garbage and has been a disaster ever since my apartment complex switched over to it. I just know that they found the cheapest system possible.
It’s Not Just You - App Does Not Work!
As others have noted, the app does not update the camera view or the remote door unlock functions. It repeatedly shows “Device not registered” when trying to access the intercom camera or door unlock release from outside of the home WiFi network. (Not really helpful since when I am at home, I can just answer the intercom device and I don’t need the app in the first place!!!!!!) I do receive notifications/calls from the app when someone rings the buzzer; however, the app does not function to allow me to unlock the door. Extremely frustrating and we are in talks with our building to identify any other intercom buzzer/service provider that would be better than Comelit.

I never write reviews. But it has to be known that this app/service is severely inconsistent and incompetent. The door lock screen'll time out randomly and sometimes won't even show at all even though someone is actively interacting with the intercom. I've deleted the app and redownloaded it several times and most recently, it has me walled at a "Configure Device" screen. So now I can't buzz people in at all. Comelit needs new software engineers or something idk.

Worst decision my building made
My condo decided to install this system in the entire buildings. The app barely works, if someone rings and it goes through as a phone call pressing 9 does not work as they said it would. I am alerted the door bell was rang 20 minutes after the bell was rang. This was the worst decision they made. I have told people to just call me so I can physically open the door instead of dealing with this headache. The system was poorly made and I guess the condo paid for what they got. Cheap and faulty. I do not recommend.

Worst app and service ever
Don’t understand why builders are putting this in new build homes. The service disconnects. You can’t gain access to your home. The app only functions for a week but then stops working not allowing you to let in deliveries or guests. Overall zero stars. Builders need to be aware that they are going to get a faulty system

Never Consistent
This app does not work. A manual door entry button would be a lifesaver because the rings are wildly inconsistent.

Not user friendly
You can only access the camera and unlock the door when receiving a call. This app feels like it’s still in a beta stage.

This app belongs in a museum. It looks and feels like software designed behind the Iron Curtain in the 1980s: clunky, unintuitive, and unreliable. Frequent Wi-Fi disconnects make it even more frustrating. In 2026, a basic doorbell app should be seamless—not an exercise in nostalgia.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. This app never functions correctly, is always losing connection to the Comelit device, and is the most unreliable door entry app I’ve ever used. There are universal problems that all users seem to experience (inability to actually answer door calls, app glitching, phone not connecting to Comelit device) and the support team is always saying it’s a property management issue but it is clearly a hardware/software issue on the apps end.

Doesn’t work
Half the time people can’t get a hold of me they try to ring me and it just says I’m unavailable. It’s also supposed to be a backup if I forget my keys but I can’t even get a hold of myself.
Why won’t they fix this all
I literally NEVER write reviews on the App Store but this app is sooo frustrating because I HAVE to use it due to my building using the Comelit system. Please get better tech team and fix the app. It’s ridiculous! It never works the way it’s supposed to.

This system does not work. My apartment complex installed them and ripped out our old intercoms. I don’t get at least 3/4ths of the calls. I can’t buzz delivery people into the building.
The customer service keeps telling me to delete and reinstall the app. It only works for a few days then completely breaks again.

90%+ failure rate
This app is supposed to allow me and others in the building to remotely open the front door. Not only do calls typically not go through, but the camera access doesn’t work and the door doesn’t open. Functionality is wildly sporadic, don’t rely on this for anything! And the best response I’ve received from Comelit is “have you tried deleting and reinstalling the app?” Best advice: just delete it!
Heard from Comelit asking me to reach back out to the same team that already told me they have no interest in helping. Why would that be a good idea?
