What's New in Conjugar

3.1

September 5, 2026

Conjugar 3.1 gives every verb a frequency rank and corrects the ranks that were wrong. A RANK FOR EVERY VERB Conjugar 3.0 ranked only the 988 most common verbs. Version 3.1 ranks all 4,811, from ser at #1 to presintonizar at #4,811. Every verb screen now shows a rank, and sorting the Verbs tab by frequency now orders the whole list, rather than the top thousand followed by everything else alphabetically. BETTER DATA The ranks now come from the Real Academia Española's CORPES XXI, a corpus of 455 million words of 21st-century Spanish from every Spanish-speaking country, which the RAE publishes under a Creative Commons license. Ties are broken with Google Books data. The previous ranks came from a web corpus whose tagger mistook common nouns for rare verbs, so hacendar, paginar, visar, and salar ranked among the 1,000 most common verbs on the strength of hacienda, página, visa, and sala. They now sit where they belong, and everyday verbs such as mirar, sentir, and oír have moved up. The Credits screen describes the sources. TWO VERBS CORRECTED Two entries in the verb list were not verbs. The misspelling reeligir is now reelegir, and sobre(e)ntender, a dictionary's shorthand for two spellings, is now sobrentender.

A huge win for mankind!

This is an absolutely sweet app. Thank you to the absolute Boss that put this out for free! Clean covers all the bases customizable and covers vos and vosotros. What more could we ask for?

Response from developer

You may not have asked for a similar app about German verbs, but I have released one: Konjugieren.

Great app

Great app. Should make it available in more languages

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback. I have released versions for French (Conjuguer) and German (Konjugieren).

Wow, a must have app

Struggling with Duolingo Spanish tree & found this app. Like another rater I wanted something to help understand when & why verb spelling changes. I was blown away this app covers so many more verb conjugation than I was aware of.

Response from developer

You made my day! I have good news. If you want to learn French- or German-verb conjugation, I have released those apps: Conjuguer and Konjugieren.

Wanted something formal to go along with duolingo

While I get the game-ified apps like Duolingo/Babel/Memrise are likely the best to practice, sometimes you just want to know what the forms are to review things on your own. This is perfect.

Nitpicks: you can’t exit out of an in-progress quiz without force quitting. Might be nice to filter based on tense and/or regularity to focus study (since I certainly haven’t learned all the tenses yet).

Seriously awesome for a totally-free app.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback, suggestion, and rating. At your request, I just added a quit button to the quiz screen. I will consider adding a filter to the verb screen. There is already a precedent for filtering on the info screen.

OMG OMG OMG

Love this app!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Response from developer

Glad you like it, Sebnsoph26. I enjoyed learning about Spanish verbs while creating this app. The Wikipedia article on voseo blew my mind.
