Used to be great

This app used to be phenomenal. Now, it won't load the requests & doesn't have security camera footage.

Please send us a direct email to support@connectedtechnologies.us with your customer account information. I assure you that nothing within the app has changed and you most likely have a network issue with the cameras onsite that your security company will need to troubleshoot and correct.

It works but needs a widget

Would love a widget for iPhone to unlock door. Way too many steps to unlock. Being that it’s been one year since an update I’d be shook if anyone read this.

Are you aware that you can set a home screen for the Doors & Outputs page so this loads first every time you open the App? To set, go to the Doors & Outputs page then Options and Set to My Home Page. Nearly impossible to scan barcode on iPhone 14.

With the new iPhone 14 and the switch to new camera sensors, the default camera can’t focus on close up objects (like the barcode you need to scan). The app needs to be updated to support switching to the new macro camera that can focus on closer object and can actually read the barcodes. Until then, it’s nearly impossible to get the app to read barcodes and unlock doors.

A pain with the Authentication Code

I’ve been waiting for an authentication code seems forever. I’ve change password, username, update my email and still nothing. I have checked my email even spam and nothing. I don’t know what else to do and support hasn’t been useful.

We're sorry you experienced frustration, the authentication code is not sent to you, it is generated with an Authenticator App on your device.

Lacks important features

Biggest one is there is no feature to force logout from all logged in devices. I changed my password but I don’t think it did anything, and I can’t find that ability anywhere else. This is a big security issue and leads me to this review. But while I’m at it, the UI looks more like a webpage than an app, which leads to a poor UX. The app has worked otherwise at unlocking my apartment’s front door for guests.

Thank you for your review. There is a force logout security feature which is exposed to system administrators. Since your review we've expanded the "Reset Sessions" option to the user as well. Also, we've made many improvements to the UI/UX.

Horrible!

Not intuitive at all -- and very awkward to use. Have had nothing but difficultly sending commands/ updates. Should be streamlined and simplified to be user friendly and accessible. Commands never seem to be "sent" and are always in "processing mode." Do not recommend, and if recommended by your security company, good luck.

We are sorry you did not have a positive experience, please note that connection issues with the onsite hardware are not within our control. Most likely they occur from Internet router updates which remove rules for connectivity. Please reach out to your security company to ensure the hardware connectivity is functioning correctly.
