Scam adjacent

I don’t know if this is an actual scam site but it is definitely scam adjacent. I got a text message reporting suspicious activity on my Apple account with a number to call. So I called and was told I needed to download this app in order to get a code to enter into yada, yada, yada. It sounded sketchy so I just hung up. I’d be very careful with this app.

I’m not sure what this application is about but I was wondering if it is associated with apple products because apple security told me to download the application on my iPhone and then asked me to transfer 1500.00 to what they said was a fictitious account so that they could catch a hacker in my apple account. I immediately hung up on them and tried to remove the app from my phone and I couldn’t remove it. I made a report to the company and they have not responded to me except to say that I need to contact them through the application and I am not a customer and I have no idea how to get this app off of my iPhone.
