They called my grandma saying they wanted 147 dollars because she was “late” on a payment, her phone is brand new she has no information, no cards or anything connected to this phone. She had no idea what was going on so of course she downloaded the app, after so they ended up finding out her name and address so she ended up hanging up. Therefore, they sent a fake number trying to pretend to be apple support so in that case I ended up calling the real apple and to get this situation fixed. dont listen to anyone that mentions this app, they’re trying to see your screen - gather as much information and lead themselves to as much money they could get. report as much as you can, don’t fall for this easy scam.

Was searching the web and had a message pop up on iPhone stating that a pre authorized payment of 149.00 was being made to my apple account. Then a continuous beeping noise followed with a blinking message with a number to stop payment if unauthorized. I dialed the number and someone claiming to be from apple with a male Asian accent pretended to check my account. I explained that I was deeply concerned with the conversation He was very demanding that I give my name. He notified me that several overseas hackers were connected to my account and that I needed to download this app or apple wouldn’t be responsible.

So I’m a kid and have apple di and apple pay it’s my own money so when there was $150 charge I clicked on the number I’ve called them three times they just randomly hang up they gave me this app. I can’t delete it. it’s horrible they know my age they probably tracked me down and I know when I was born and my first and last name.

I don’t know if this is an actual scam site but it is definitely scam adjacent. I got a text message reporting suspicious activity on my Apple account with a number to call. So I called and was told I needed to download this app in order to get a code to enter into yada, yada, yada. It sounded sketchy so I just hung up. I’d be very careful with this app.
