I don’t know if this is an actual scam site but it is definitely scam adjacent. I got a text message reporting suspicious activity on my Apple account with a number to call. So I called and was told I needed to download this app in order to get a code to enter into yada, yada, yada. It sounded sketchy so I just hung up. I’d be very careful with this app.

I’m not sure what this application is about but I was wondering if it is associated with apple products because apple security told me to download the application on my iPhone and then asked me to transfer 1500.00 to what they said was a fictitious account so that they could catch a hacker in my apple account. I immediately hung up on them and tried to remove the app from my phone and I couldn’t remove it. I made a report to the company and they have not responded to me except to say that I need to contact them through the application and I am not a customer and I have no idea how to get this app off of my iPhone.

The is a number given on Google that is supposed to be StubHub support. It connected you to some random stranger to download this app and attempt to get banking info and credit card info.
The fake number is currently 1-866-4009. Don’t trust it! Use StubHub’s virtual assistant. I got in contact with a real person and got into my show within 20 minutes.

I received an invoice claiming it was from Geek Squad. When I called the number at on the invoice I was instructed to download this app and connect my device. Luckily I disconnected the call before I shared my screen with them. Be very, very careful when using this

Beware of this app! 99% of the time when scammers want to you download this app, it’s to gain access to you IPhone which includes your bank accounts and personal info. The scammer would say your Apple Pay acct has a charge of a certain amount and he’s here to help me get the money back. Blah blah blah.
