Unreliable
Twice booked the load on this platform and twice load was cancelled without any reason.
Frustrating experience—forced location tracking and MIA support
If you're looking at the Convoy app expecting a seamless, broker-free way to manage loads, you might want to lower your expectations. What started out as an innovative concept for owner-operators and carriers has turned into a massive headache.
First off, the rates being pushed through the app have dropped significantly, often failing to cover basic operating costs like rising fuel prices and maintenance. Instead of helping drivers maximize efficiency, it feels like a race to the bottom with automated pricing that completely ignores current market realities.
To make matters worse, the app now forces you to hand over continuous location access just to open it up and check the platform. Treating professional drivers with this level of surveillance fatigue—demanding constant GPS permissions right out of the gate—crosses a serious privacy line when you're just trying to look at the board.
Add in the fact that trying to get help when something actually goes wrong is nearly impossible, and it becomes a dealbreaker. If you run into a detention issue, a facility delay, or a sudden app glitch while out on the road, forget about getting a prompt or helpful response from customer support. You're left dealing with automated loops and dead ends while your clock keeps ticking.
Between the razor-thin margins, invasive access demands, and absolute lack of reliable human support when you need it most, using this app feels more like a gamble than a reliable business tool. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere for consistent freight.

If it ain’t broke fix it til it is
We used to get Rate Cons via email as soon as you booked a load and now someone very special at Convoy has decided to remove that feature and your only option is to just view the rate confirmation in the convoy app - without the option to print or save it. Only a very, very special person would take a perfectly working system and mess it up for no reason. What’s truly amazing is that ‘said person’ is getting paid to do it.

Worst
They will cut your money with crazy
Most annoying app
Too many check up emails, texts, and calls. Flock freight specifically. They’ll email you all threateningly to send BOL and seal photos BEFORE YOU EVEN PICK UP. And even worse they hide the PO# until you’re at the location that the driver has to deal with in the app instead of having it already available and VISIBLE on-hand prior to pick up
