The camera won’t stay connected to the app. And after about 40 minutes and multiple resets, I was finally able to download the video but you can only save 15 second clips to your photo album. Wasn’t able to read the license plate of the vehicle that hit my car in the video.
No good.
At first it was great then went to the new cooau app and now it is garbage. You can not play anything back let alone download it. It skips time when recording. And i can go on and on. I bought a rove and now i don’t have these problems.
Kicked Out after 4 seconds
Will let you scroll through videos for about 4 seconds and then says it disconnected and can’t connect. They need to fix this.
BEWARE. The camera itself is gone but the app is useless. Used to be good, now doesn’t even work.
Got this a couple years ago and it was fine. Now, it doesn’t even record video and for months wasn’t even able to open the app. It’s useless, it’s dead and I’ve given up on it. I won’t even sell it this thing it’s going right where it deserves, the garbage.

App doesn’t work
The camera for some reason doesn’t save the videos. The app doesn’t connect to the camera and doesn’t save the videos, it’s a whole nightmare!
Horrorable
The playback function keeps dropping when you are trying to download a video. The connection to live is spotty
Fix your app
I had this dash cam for a while now it went great the first couple months. Than went downhill starting from the past week I can’t delete the footage because it shows “Incorrect Password” I never changed the password. This started happening out of nowhere. I expected good quality but instead I spent money on some temu like trash that has an insult of an app.

Don’t buy this dashcam
I wish I knew how much this app sucked before buying this dashcam. My cam will say it’s connected but never loads the video and the connection is terrible, even with good data and full bars. Before you open the box I beg you to read this review and refund that COOAU dashcam and buy literally anything else.

Ficam app was MUCH better
Ever since I had to switch from ficam to this app, nothing has worked right. I can’t even connect to my dashcam anymore. This app is literal garbage, I can’t even pull my videos when it actually lets me connect to the cam. It has tons of connection issues

Used to be great
Bought back in April and video downloads were fast, after last months update video downloading has been SLOWWW . Takes about 15-20 minutes to download a 3 minute video . Plus it’s been more buggy lately
Worst
Had this cam for close to a year. At first it was great & worked as it should. A few months later that all changed. It records but you can’t play it back on the app. You have to use a PC with the memory card. I have uninstalled & installed it, I have completely restored it to factory setting, I have done everything I could and still doesn’t let me see playbacks on the app. What good is the cam if I can’t access my recorded history on the app. Don’t recommend

Verification code does not work
Like the title says, the verification code does not work. When I type the code in to register an account, it says “special characters cannot be entered”—even though there’s no other characters but the numbers
Skips time when recording with d30 camera
Update, used it a while longer still trash but seems whenever I almost have an accident around me or barely avoiding one the thing decides not to record that entire minute around the incident wouldn’t ever buy their products again, done all the formatting and restarting but nothing helps.
Used these brand of cameras for years never had a issue until ficam app quit working switch to the COOAUDash app and now my camera when set to record every minute going down the road in the semi will record then not record, never in a set interval. Might go all day then when I need a clip it won’t be there has before or after it by one minute. Like today went to look for a clip and the whole trip was there until the event and after it for 15 minutes and recorded me pulling into my destination. It does a lot of good having the app when I never know if it’s going to always be recording or not definitely junking this brand of camera and getting something else. If the ones that made this app made the ficam app it’s all trash and will always be.

Has too many bugs
App keep loosing comunicación with camera. Needs so many bug fixes and updates. Can’t do anything with the app anymore.
