A tool is only good if it works

The previous check in charge app worked flawlessly and now it’s been ruined by combining it into an app that will not load in the field when needed, now it is a useless app that does nothing except take up space on a digital device

Way worse than old app

This app really overcomplicated things. You can tell whoever developed the app doesn’t actually use the app daily out in the field. If they did, then the new Copeland app would be way more like the old CheckCharge app. The old check and charge app was awesome. I used it for many many years. Especially loved that on the old app, I could tap on a button and see a very straightforward, traditional pressure temperature chart for whatever refrigerant I was using. Now it’s some stupid slider, which is completely unnecessary and really slows me down when I want to just glance at the chart and do the math in my head like I’ve done for 20 years. I understand the app developer probably had good intentions, but please don’t ditch the simple way to do things and make the only option a complicated one. I’m seriously about to go back to the three ringbinder days because of how user un-friendly this is.

Why do they insist on making everything worse

I just wanted to use the pressure temperature chart and now it’s some stupid sliding feature that resets every time you touch it. Why is everyone nowadays affected by making everything less user friendly on purpose??
