Never buy this product
The app is horrible to navigate and the quality of the cameras are mediocre. Go get a Ring and save yourself a lot of time and aggravation.
Can’t view recordings
Been using cortex view for 5 years, in the last 4 months have not been able to view recordings or even look at settings through the App. Hasn’t had an update in 6 years and I guess they don’t care anymore.
Great Cameras Horrible App
The cameras work great! Clear picture and live stream. The app however is pure crap. It does not open up right away. It had to be opened and closed multiple times before it shows the cameras. So much for easily accessible.
Nice cameras brutal app
The cameras are nice, picture on live stream comes in clear and nearly on time, that is however if the app is actually working. Picks and chooses when it wants to live stream and if it does actually work and you exit the app and return (to check an email etc) the live stream will be disconnected and you will have to shut down app to restart. This was working for a while and now not even that is working. It’s a big hassle.

Why pay for an app?
I used some free version app for an iPhone for a cortex system I bought in TampaBay Fl, turning into a scam - last 4 days since 8-30-19 system is up and down , zero support. I’m going to Lowe’s to swap this out
