Should be free

I like most people hate subscriptions and while the app did work great for me in the first month while it was free, I didn’t subscribe because in my opinion it’s not worth $30/year. This should be free, you would get millions of downloads instead of trying to gouge people on a subscription.

Receipt Retriever Disabled

No longer automatically retrieves your Costco receipts. No longer worth it to me. Unfortunately it’s too late apparently for me to get a refund of my subscription.

It was honestly awesome until…

It was honestly awesome until Costco. I guess got wind of it and now blocks the direct importer. It is an extra step, but still not a big deal.

Game-changer for costcoshopper

Review:
Super easy to use—just snap a photo of your receipt, and Cost Pal tracks price drops automatically. I've already gotten money back on several items and paid for my membership with the savings! Wish I'd found this sooner. Highly recommend for anyone who shops at Costco regularly. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Easy to use

I have been using this app for alittle under a year. I have gained quite a bit of return with things going on sale within the month I purchased them . They have improved the ease of uploading receipts since when I first started using it . You can now just link your account and easily upload your receipts

App not showing the price drop

Since last few weeks I noticed the app is not showing the price drop even if the item was on discount in the warehouse. Looks like app isn’t working at all..

Not worth the money

This was a great app until about a month ago. Then they update with some patch or something and now the easy receipt retriever is gone. You just get an error saying it’s not available. It’s been about three weeks since it has been available so I’m a little disappointed. I am absolutely not going to manually upload my purchases. Why would I win an API was available? I wish I could get my money back.

DO NOT BUY - Not useful anymore

It was a great idea- simple and pays for itself.

But then they took away the receipt retriever and it’s basically useless. You can manually enter receipts now, but I’m not going to do that. It has to be easy to be useful.

I tried emailing support, but there was not response. They took away the key feature AFTER I paid for the app, and then don’t even bother to respond to support requests.

Ridiculous

Saving money is always a good thing. No, I’m not going to pay you money to save me money, and I’m definitely NOT going to give you my login information to my Costco account. Are you serious? If you buy something from Costco, and see it cheaper, just write down the item number and have them scan your card at the return counter. They’ll price match it immediately.

This is awesome! Works great, had to show the employees, it had exactly what they needed to find the receipt to get my refund. Employees didn’t know about it and were downloading it themselves when I was walking away.

Works!

I found this app pretty easy to use once I figured out how to take whole-page screenshots of receipts on my phone (try using mobile web page instead of app). It found a price adjustment on my first couple receipts! It does seem to have missed another price adjustment, hence the 4 stars. But overall I’m happy and find this app super helpful.
