Double Booking
Cottages.com cancelled a confirmed booking made via Airbnb and showed no interest in my complaint. Never contacted me regarding this and I was ultimately out of pocket.
The Airbnb booking (made months in advance) was cancelled but this was after we had arrived and gained entry. Another couple turned up with a confirmed booking (made that week). After a night in a local hotel we were forced to return home the next day (5hr drive each way). Internet search showed that cottages.com regularly make double bookings. Be careful!

Worst customer support
I was unhappy with a booking I had with them and the owner was literally fooling us with broken hot tub. I tried to speak to customer service and they absolutely ignored my request.

Rubbish app
Trying to book a holiday today, uploaded app , but unable to pay, as when I try to put in barclaycard code, it takes me back to payment page again . Tried 3 times, gave up 😩
Rubbish NEVER AGAIN
Booking went completely wrong. Stressful and staff unable to do anything but apologise. Information on site wrong, it promised a sauna but non available, it never mentioned the extortionate fee of £30 for bringing a dog! If you need to speak to someone to try and get information and sort out the mess they make of your booking, get ready to have at least a 30 minute wait. I was put on hold only to be cut off by the system and had a further 30 min wait on their automated system being treated to the worst music designed to make you want to commit suicide! Booking via this app? NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!

Fabulous holiday in Cornwall - accommodation was ideal - clean, comfortable, incredible views. All very smooth and very helpful app.
