Booking ls screen takes several minutes to load or does not load. Unable to use explore function to view other properties as screen is blank
Great Site!
Literally found this website by accident! We use two other well known sites for our holidays within the U.K., but since we adopted two dogs, after our little old man passed away in 2024, we’ve found it harder to find locations willing to take two dogs. After searching, two properties we found weren’t totally suitable, then holidaycottages.co.uk popped up in my Google feed! My mother is old, and in poor health, so ideally needs everything on a ground floor. She was adamant we go away for Christmas and new year 26/27 as a family (we lost my MIL in 2024) and we found the perfect spot for me, my husband, our two puppers and my mother. I’m sure it will be the perfect Christmas and new year!

Dodgy reviews for cottages
The app itself I have found easier to use than the website so far. Although, I am quite annoyed that my recent, not entirely positive, review I left for a cottage I had stayed in was published with just my name and no. of stars given (3). The paragraph including the reasons I was not entirely satisfied was not published. Not fair at all for future bookers of that cottage or any future bookings I make now I know that this is how it’s done. I will now know what a blank review with just a star score suggests.

Amazing
We use holiday cottages twice a year and always have a fabulous stay. The cottages are clean and tidy and are well equipped. They keep you well informed with your booking I wouldn’t use any other company
Notifications
So I had a notification that I cannot get rid of on my home screen. I have deleted and reinstalled the app twice and it’s still there! So annoying as I like a tidy home screen! I have now deleted the app which is disappointing but I could not find out at all what the notification was!
