An excellent resource
Wow! So impressed by this app and the experience of chatting with this app. It honestly has a great “bedside manner” and feels very human in how it answers my questions, while addressing my concerns. Having the ability to chat with a doctor is unmatched in the industry… I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m waiting to hear back from my doctor at the moment so who knows… maybe today is the day. Thanks for building this!!!

I am a medical student and I used Counsel for my acne. Was very impressed with the efficient yet comprehensive questions it asked me, the likely diagnose and explanation, and detailed treatment plan! Saved me a trip to my PCP (who I cannot even access right now because I’m traveling for an extended period)! Cannot recommend it enough!

I had arthritis flair ups, and getting meds for them can be really difficult if i happen to be out - using counsel was so seamless, i was in bed on new years day, and everything was taken care of before I even had my coffee. Healthcare as its meant to be!!

I can ask anything and get quick and super personalized medical advice
I’m seriously tired of googling health questions and feeling like everything is going to kill me. On the other hand, it takes 2 days just to reach my PCP, so then I just wait everything out. With this app, I’m able to ask serious questions about my chronic conditions and what’s next, and even basic ones like if protein powder is good for me and which ones I should take. The doctors are so fast and empathetic, and because they have my medical records, all the advice is personalized. Thanks!!!

What an incredible app for dealing with all possible health issues! It’a particularly awesome for all those little issues where you’re on the fence about going to an ER and want to save your time while still getting quality medical info.keep it up!!
Bad medical advice
I signed up for this service thinking it would be an awesome AI doctor. In reality, it’s worse than ChatGPT and doesn’t actually give you good care. This app is all chat based care. They don’t know who you are. No video or personal relationship with a provider. The AI gives medical advice that actually prolonged my symptoms. After not recovering, I spoke to a REAL doctor and realized that Counsel was giving me very bad medical advice about a GI issue. I then asked ChatGPT the exact same questions I asked Counsel and it gave me the same advice my non-Counsel doctor gave me but with even more precise and actionable next steps. I followed ChatGPT’s advice and was back to 100% in 2 days after a week of worsening suffering using Counsel. This app is horrible and the FDA should really investigate it for giving bad medical advice.

Where has this been all my life?!
I hate going to the doctor. It’s so expensive and takes all day, I don’t have time for that! Using AI to answer my questions — before I go down an internet diagnosis rabbit hole — and being able to talk to a real doctor was mind blowingly efficient. The doctor was empathetic yet concise, and ordered me a prescription within just a few minutes. I can’t see a future where this is not how we receive healthcare. Offices and wait times are a relic of the past!
