Thank you for the suggestion. I have been giving some thought about giving more advice on pricing in the app. I don't know if I would be able to add a suggested price based on product type, though. The most important lesson that I learned in selling my own items is not to underprice yourself. The app helps take care of that by taking into account many of the variables that can have an effect on the price. In many ways, if you are making something by hand your own costs are more important than competing with other products on price. It won't do you any good if you match, or beat their price if you are losing money to do it. I have been thinking a lot about adding pricing categories based on product, but I keep running across how to make the categories narrow enough. For instance - jewelry - how do you separate the various materials that it could be made of. Even if we take a ring the price range is pretty wide. Is it silver? Is it gold? Is it just a plastic ring? Is there a stone - if so, how valuable is it? That is a dilemma that I have been running across.
