User reviews

Amazing app! But next time, they shall add a setting called “Make your own key signature”.

They shall add this setting called “Make your own key signature” in the setting of Crescendo menus. I wrote 2 songs and both were amazing on my computer and my iPad! The sounds were pianish were rich in tone when I first used it.

Waste of money - doesn’t work

There is no audio playback from the score 😡.
I know that the audio settings are correct, as the metronome plays perfectly, but there is nothing you can do to persuade the score to play.
This is now my third attempt to use Crescendo. I first tried it a couple of years ago on a MacBook. More recently I installed a newer version on a Mac Studio. Now I’ve installed the iOS version on both my iPad and iPhone. None of these four devices played back any audio, other than the metronome.
NCH eventually refunded my money for the Mac version in 2023, as they couldn’t make it work either.
It would now appear that the iOS version is no better and the issue hasn’t been fixed.
All they ever say is they will pass the details back to their developers and let me know when they’ve fixed the issue. Three years and still waiting. 😡
Please don’t trust this company with your hard earned cash !

What happen , please fix

I no longer hear any sound. This frustrating being that I composer I this app and it no longer produces any sounds. It not been work for numerous month. Very disappointed

Annoying sound

When I just got the app, and I opened my file for my score. I pressed the play button and it just made a loud trumpet sound over the music. It blocked my own music. When I tried to get out of the app and back to play it. Same thing happened again! Can you please fix it or tell me why it made that sound? Thank you.
