About

Crew Recovery is built by a long-haul pilot for flight and cabin crew. It reads your roster from your calendar, combines it with your sleep data from Apple Health and gives advice on sleep, light, meals and caffeine around your trips. No Apple Watch? A Fitbit works too: the free Google Health app puts your sleep and heart rate in Apple Health, which is where Crew Recovery reads from. Free: - Roster with report, pickup and wake-up times - Bunk rest planner for flight crew: split, times, alarm, and app-to-app sharing with your colleagues - Two-shift in-flight rest for cabin crew, with alarm - Controlled rest timer - Log for caffeine, alcohol, naps and how you feel - All the theory explained, with sources Crew Recovery Plus (subscription): - Your current alertness, reserve and body clock - Curves: alertness and reserve ahead, caffeine, alcohol and nightly metrics - Measured recovery after each trip, based on your own nightly data - Severity calendar of your roster - Apple Watch complications Another airline? The app works with general defaults you can adjust. A profile with your airline's report times, crew augmentation limits and roster titles can be requested from within the app. Privacy: all data stays on your device. No account, no server, no analytics. Syncing between your own iPhone and iPad is direct and only when you start it. Crew Recovery does not give medical advice and is not a fitness-for-duty tool. It helps you plan your own rest. Subscription: Crew Recovery Plus renews automatically until cancelled. Cancel up to 24 hours before the end of the period in your Apple account settings. What's New in Crew Recovery

1.1

November 4, 2026

- Your body clock is now measured on trips too, from your heart rate during sleep. - New WRR tab on the Flight page: the EASA duty limits for reference, with how much delay still fits. Indicative only: your OM-A prevails. - Briefing at the top of the Flight page and two bunk alarms at once. - Cabin rest per flight: the purser's start, end and gap, split into two equal shifts. - Roster changes appear at the top of Roster, with a notification if they fall within 14 days. - Quick logging from your Lock Screen, Control Center or Siri: caffeine, alcohol and naps. - Advice shows the time where it applies, with your own time in brackets; UTC in the air. - Countdown to landing, pickup or report next to the heading on Now. - Alertness has been rescaled: a well-rested day now comes out around 9. - After three trips the app uses your own recovery rate. - Fitbit as a source via the free Google Health app. - Share your airline profile with a QR code: your colleague scans it with the camera and first sees what it sets. - After landing at an outstation the app reminds you to enter your pickup time. - Choose the roster calendar in Settings too, with steps to subscribe to your crew feed.
