I'm an american so some of the questions about british culture I can't really answer, since I don't know them! Ofc I like expanding myself but it's a little annoying that I basically have no chance of knowing without just seeing it :P There's not really a fix for this but it's more of a warning to other americans I guess lol! If you watch a lot of british TV or something like that you'll probably have a better time :^)

I quit playing this one because the ads always lock up or last forever. They used to work right, play through and then move on.

weird shaped puzzle
I’ve been playing this for a while and it’s been perfectly fine, pretty fun! until I moved on to a new section and one of the “midi” puzzles was shaped like a $w@st1ka !!! I will be deleting this game if this isn’t taken down!

It’s great, super easy to navigate and challenging puzzles. However, on Vol 3 of the easy puzzles, the hint says pirouette and the answer is spin, when it should really be turn because that’s what is considered correct in the dance world. Other than that, it’s fantastic!

I used to love this app but when I switched to a new phone, the amount of crosswords has decreased massively and my usual constructor only has one crossword and before they had loads. Please change this back.
high-quality puzzles
Quality puzzles that are actually a good level of difficulty. Very nice interface with a good nighttime presentation. Can also be played off-line with no ads.
my fave app
i have the paid version of this app and it’s the best thing for winding down after a long day or killing time. the puzzles are challenging and fun. i’ve found myself becoming fans of certain puzzle makers as well. you know what else i love about this app? it doesn’t hide the clock on your phone. i hate that other games do that!

Insidious ads to get access to devices is just wrong
Kind of enjoyed the Hard puzzles and tolerated the ads until there was an “ad” that said my device was hacked and the only way to “fix” it was to download a clean up app. Could only get back to puzzles by closing the xword app and reopening it. This “ad” now shows up every time after a puzzle. So I am done with this app. And I suspect that the offer of paying $49.99 for “lifetime” access is an out and out lie.

Fun App
Fun game. It's got a decent user interface and fun puzzles. I just wish their was an easier way to jump to the beginning off three current horizontal or vertical word, in case of a typo.

Please develop a screen function to block authors with a cause. I just don’t want to be indoctrinated by puzzles. I really like the game. I’ve solved a few hundred. I pay by watching the ads. But now I have ten authors I no longer use, ie, his and his gift registry and black activist names. I can’t remember who not to pick when I search for a new pack. I’m not whining. It’s a free country. You do you. Just don’t teach me to be you. I’m not a phobe. I just want to solve puzzles without broadening myself. Thank you if you can help.
