I almost never leave reviews; much less ones that are positive. I love this app. No gimmicks, just straight pack after pack of crosswords. The one feature I would like to see added is more statistics: I’ve done so many at this point that I find it hard to see my fastest times, and I wish there was a way to see my overall average time for each size or something. “Total time” would also be a nice statistic. You could hide it in a menu somewhere, but I’d love to check it now and then.
Oh, and also, sometimes the crosswords are wrong—answers are never supposed to be in any clues or any other answers. (That’s why you can have duplicate clues but not answers.) However, this is more of a failing on whomever created the crossword. Maybe all it needs is some extra eyes before the user gets them—a little more screening.

I like the medium puzzles because they are just tough enough to make me think but not so hard that I have to admit defeat.
Really great interface, so easy and pleasant to use
This is one of the finest interfaces I have ever worked with, and the puzzles are really good quality and some are difficult enough to make them fun. Can also be played off-line with no ads.
For Americans only
This is a great app that can be used offline. Great puzzles but I have one criticism, too many clues relating to Perhaps it is meant only for people from USA, if that’s the case it is worth 5 stars.
Becoming frustrated
Decent variety and levels of games. Recently, since last update Tasty Treats ad locks up and I have to close the app to get back to a new puzzle.

Good game lots of puzzles and challenging, bit of ads easier and faster just to close the app and reopen instead of waiting for ad to finish and am not paying $50 for no ads 🤣 other then that good game and app.
$35 ad free is completely unthinkable
Feels like a joke. The app itself is fine but the greed is beyond comprehension.

Decent puzzles, not enough variety in writers. Same 10 people, some of whom aren't very interesting. They use the same words repetitively.
Medium is a joke
More than half your creators make the medium puzzles ridiculously hard while the easy ones are for retards.
relatively ad free, the ones there are aren't intrusive
any ads that appear are only before or after you start a game, and the games can take quite a bit but your mileage may vary depending on how good you are at these. the ads are also somewhat uncommon and usually short and skippable which is a real treat for a free game, there's an option to pay 35 dollars for ad-free gameplay which is a somewhat large amount for a phone game, but understandable as there's not much you can monetize here, which is really charming. it's very simple and unobtrusive, with a huge amount of puzzles of varying difficulties to play, 5/5.

I love crossword! I love how it challenges you to think and you also learn from it! It’s also a fun way to spend the afternoon!
Puzzles can't load
$35 and half the puzzles on the last set were unable to load, with a message to contact the help desk. Nope.
Stupid Clues
A. Nicolle should not be allowed to submit any more puzzle packs. Their clues are ridiculously STUPID (WAY too cryptic and esoteric)!!!

Pretty good, very british
I'm an american so some of the questions about british culture I can't really answer, since I don't know them! Ofc I like expanding myself but it's a little annoying that I basically have no chance of knowing without just seeing it :P There's not really a fix for this but it's more of a warning to other americans I guess lol! If you watch a lot of british TV or something like that you'll probably have a better time :^)

I quit playing this one because the ads always lock up or last forever. They used to work right, play through and then move on.
