They charge you $4. For shipping only. Tag is free. NO MENTION OF FURTHER COST!! When you go to set up the tag, if you want to use it you have to pay $10.95 per month to keep it going. THIS IS POOR ADVERTISING. I probably would have taken it if the cost had been exposed up front. I don’t like conceiving ads. Shame on Tom Crumb

Good idea/poor execution. The app is too expensive. It’s also confusing. Didn’t realize I couldn’t activate the tag without signing up for the $11/mo fee. Because they save your card info from paying for shipping, they automatically charge you. I immediately tried to cancel and get a refund and have gotten the run around. I also can’t delete my card info from the app. This whole thing is scammy. Do not recommend.

I would highly recommend Crumb tags I have several escapees and they always get scanned with the crumb tags and returned or I collect them , and if a tag get lost I just notify crumb and with a couple days it’s on my doorstep , if you love you animals the love crumb as well it’s the best piece of advice I can give anyone looking for a reliable tag for our fur baby’s

We found this app on Instagram bc Crumb paid to sponsor an ad for a promo that stated to only pay shipping to get a free tag. Per their requirements of one tag per customer, I myself ordered one tag and my partner ordered one tag. We were both charged for the shipping. Didn’t mind! We easily activated the tags and learned we have to pay a subscription fee which can be cancelled at any time. Again, we didn’t mind! Then as I moved onto the other tag, we found that I cannot use my login/app to activate the dog tag that my partner ordered. Mind you, we had to place separate orders per their promo requirements. Still didn’t mind. I then ordered two more tags through my acct and was charged for two tags, shipping, and two extra subscription fees. That’s when I started to get frustrated about all of the hidden charges. I only knew about the charges, because I checked the invoices through their app and saw all of the separate charges. So I emailed them stating what had happened and that I want to cancel the two tags I just ordered that way they can be used for other pets and requested a refund. I did not get a refund. I did not get the tags. A week later I emailed them and recieved an unacceptable response which has led me to write this review. The app is legit. Customer service needs a attitude check.

Replacement easy but small ring makes the tag vulnerable
The tiny ring provided to attach the tag to the big ring is NOT good :(
It came apart over time (my dogs play rough!) and Tripper’s tag was lost.
Replacement was super easy.
But I think the tiny ring lets the longevity down on Crumb tags. I recommend you all get rid of the tiny ring and just use the big strong ring provided.

They have been good to us so far very helpful. Very kind and resourceful. Definitely recommend them and do my dogs elderly years. I’m glad that they’re there. I don’t know what I’d do without them.

Great free service would recommend to anyone and used it last night when I lost my dog he was stuck under a big trolly and couldn’t get out of it wasn’t for crumb he might be dead now
My crumb tags
It’s a fantastic idea, they’re free only postage to pay. They are so easy to set up. The thing that took the longest is getting my pets to still, haha to register their snout. It’s going to give me such peace of mind knowing if they do ever get out I have a better chance of them getting home. I go camping a lot and it’s great to know if the dogs do manage to run off even out of area I have a much better chance of them coming home.

This is such a great resource for dog owner. I feel confident that I’d Molly went missing I would be able to locate her quickly.

Peace of mind for barely any cost.
I would highly recommend Crumb as an option for making sure that your dog is kept safe.
It’s very rare that someone walks without a mobile phone and if your dog goes off somewhere, all of their information is there to get them home to you.
Of course we chip our dogs, but the usual metal tag that we had my phone number on and the house name and postcode basically eroded and this won’t happen with the crumb tag.
We did lose one from one of my dog’s collar and I got a replacement immediately with a stronger ring which I think will make the difference to keep it on her collar.
Finally!! It is so cheap! And barely anything for peace of mind, literally a couple of pounds a month. I genuinely feel much safer now that they have their crumb tags. So worth it!
