For what should be considered a mission-critical/life safety app, this app falls far short. Constantly logging out, doesn’t refresh on the fly. I don’t trust using it unless I can see & hear the generator. It’s worthless if you’re not right there with it.
Nonstop connection issues
As others have said, the generator itself is awesome, but this app and all the supporting tech side of Cummins have been a disaster. Mine is constantly disconnected, which I can only seem to fix by opening the case up, unplugging it and plugging it back in. Such a disappointment.
The worst app you could ever be forced to use
This app is terrible starting with the convoluted way they make you login which often ends yo locking you out for over an hour. This is a generator that is used for emergencies. You can’t spend hours just trying to get into the app.
Low effort app
You would think a company that is the size of Cummins would be able to produce a decent app. This is just sad.
Constantly disconnecting!
Absolutely completely annoying. The app is always disconnecting from the generator and the company will tell you some garbage about how you need to turn everything off unplug everything wait 15 minutes blah blah blah. The app is garbage and hasn’t been updated in forever. Cummins needs to do better. Useless.

Password
App constantly forgets password and the info is not stored in phone settings

I’m so tired of my generator starting up unexpectedly because I cannot schedule monthly maintenance checks from the app, so the generator starts whenever it wants, this morning it started at 5:30am. For the past two weeks all I’ve gotten is an error message when I log into the app and try to do anything. What’s sad is this is supposed to be an updated version of their app, but they have taken a bad app and made it worse.

Glitchy
If I knew that Cummins would not be on top of their app development I would not have purchased their generator. Difficulties logging in, no options for how to log in and limited use of app is very disappointing.
Still can’t log in
When I first got my two generators five years ago, this app worked just fine. I could monitor my generators and receive notification when they started and shut down. A couple years ago I had an issue that required a circuit board to be replaced. And that was the end of my ability to connect or even login. And yes, I did get assistance from My serviceman. So this new update was supposed to combine your login with the website and the app. Well, I’ve always been able to login at the website but not the app so I followed their instructions and repeated them three times and contacted Support, but I still can’t login like everybody else. I just get the login screen over and over again. They know they have this ongoing issue but!!!

Latest app buggy and graphical presentation is bad
Latest update got a much worse graphical presentation than it was previously. It’s like if it was not made for the iphone on the latest IOS 17.6.1.
Also, got an error message that is popping up each time I open the app. Cannot upload the screenshot here but it makes me lack confidence on the usability of the app itself.

New update seems fine
Listen - this app is just to monitor your generator. It doesn’t need to do much. I just had a Cummins genset installed, 7 days after v9.0 launched in the App Store. Seems fine to me. No issues so far.

App is complete garbage
I have not been able to log into the app from any iOS device for nearly a year and the dev team has yet to resolve or respond to support requests. Very frustrated as an unreported power outages outage resulted in an issue with water back up and damage. Had the app worked, we would have been notified and had someone present, avoiding the damages. Very poor design Even worse support.

Terrible App
Honestly, this app is aweful. I thought people were exaggerating, but they weren’t. Honestly, hire someone to make a better app. It’s just not that difficult.
Connect Cloud app has big problems
Having owned this app and 20 kw Cummins air cooled genset for 4 years, I can say the app was fair to begin with and had areas needing enhancement. However, it has gotten worse through the updates and the have been no enhancements to the user experience. I believe all the updates were chasing bugs that could come with OS updates. Anyway, do not buy this generator for the remote app. Even the dealers will recommend some other third party monitoring system. Shame upon Cummins!

Terrible app
I have had this for three weeks and I cannot connect to it.
Like everyone else - App does not work
Don’t bother downloading this. It doesn’t connect. I get to login and then nothing. Just the Cummins logo. Maybe that’s all the app is supposed to do.
