No Support

No link for support through the app, email address is invalid. App can be quite clunky.

Can be improved

Doesn’t have a search function so impossible to find old messages without spending too much time

Hard to use

Not a fan, my team had been using Telegram it’s so much more user friendly and easier to find people. I have literally approved teammates access to Cureatr and can’t find them when I search for them. This platform needs some major updates/upgrades it shouldn’t be this hard to use

Very good app for defined setting, could use a few feature adds

Very good for communicating with facility staff. Nice function of being able to assign coverage docs and availability. Very nice feature of being able to add people to conversation.

However, needs a search function, as well as mark message as “unread” function.

Response from developer

Hello! Thank you for reaching out and providing feedback. We are sorry you are having issues with our app. Cureatr has made a few updates recently to the log in process that make it easier for you to get in and start using the app. If you download the new version (3.0), you can establish face or touch-ID as your password to quickly log back in if you sign out. If you have any other feedback or questions, please contact us at support@cureatr.com.

Needs a patient search option.

Needs a search option to look up patients. Very frustrating to have to scroll and scroll to find a patient.

You can’t search previous conversations

A messaging app in which you can’t search previous conversations is pretty useless.

Unable to add patient icon

Unable to add patient icon at bottom of screen. No IT follow up after emailed for assistance.

Visavility

Too small of a font. Colors are bad contrast Hard to use

And…. Cannot figure out how to use it.

Could use improvements

App is basic at best. There needs to be ability to not recieve notifications or need to archive messages received when marked as off duty
Th e volume of messages that are requiring archiving is stored to device via app and takes up too much space on phone.

New change in display makes it impossible to read patient name

I used to love Cureatr. I can not really use it anymore. The patient name is now nearly completely obscured by a black background. It is too dangerous to try and communicate with Cureatr since I cannot tell who the patient is

Include a search or filter function PLEASE!!!!

I work for a healthcare company and cover several venues. We use this app constantly. I sometimes receive upwards of 200 messages in a day. It is inefficient and time intensive to scroll through all messages to reference one.

Additionally, in the latest update (yesterday) the subject line background is black while the font is dark gray. This makes it difficult to see which patient is being referenced while in the message. Please either lighten the background or the text to provide more contrast.

Many thanks from a grateful superuser!

Hi a;ksdjflajf! Thanks for your feedback. Because of your review, we released Cureatr's new version 2.26 with the ability to archive all messages. Thanks again for using Cureatr.

Helpful tool, needs a fix

The tool is quite helpful. Does not show new messages on this touch pad until you go to Account screen, then back to Message screen.

Photo

It would be helpful if we could take phone pictures from our photo library to add to the Cureatr conversations !! There is a lot of times that I take a picture when the pt us walking out the door that I would like to send to the dr ( and immediately delete off my off my phone after I send it ) but I can’t get to it until Cureatr until the end of day !

Search option

cureatr is great, it lacks the option to search conversations which is critical when using for tracking patient care and conversations.

Can’t stand it.

I wouldn’t use it if I wasn’t forced too by my employer!! It drops off line inexplicably and sends me a series of 1s instead of numbers I can call back.

I hate this app!

Useful tool but far from perfect

We use this tool for primary communication between the provider and staff. Photos are handy to use. Mobile version does not allow attaching of files, which would be nice. Notifications are buggy and often I find “batches” of messages coming in, not in real time. This may be due to my cellular coverage but don’t have any issues with other apps. My biggest gripe is the inability to search messages. Unfortunately, the app implementation for providers by the health care institution is locked down and does not allow providers to link patients (but staff can - was told that I would be able to see other provider patient names). This is a HUGE problem as neither staff nor myself can easily refer to a message I initiated without scrolling through endless messages. If the app had a general search mechanism, this would help immensely!

Response from developer

Hello and thank you for your feedback. Cureatr does have the ability to attach from the phone's gallery, however, many institutions disable this feature for compliance and security purposes. We will bring the search ability to our product team for review. In the meantime, if you know the provider/team mate involved in a past message, you can compose a message and type that user's name in. When it appears, click the profile picture or initials. A list of messages you have with them will show in the profile screen. For other issues, please do not hesitate to contact Cureatr Support (support@cureatr.com) and someone on our team will reach out to help!

Does not ring

Almost a good app but the ringer you select for pages in app is not the sound you get when you receive a page. Instead a generic iPhone notification ping plays.

iPhone 11 with ringer set to max. Hard to tell when it goes off or if it’s other riffraff.

Cumbersome to login and won’t stay active

Login is cumbersome and then won’t stay active. Voalte much better.

One request

I am constantly forgetting to activate or deactivate Cureater when I’m respectively on or off a shift. Any way to set dates and times to automatically do this for us? And if not, any consideration for creating that option to improve the app?

Good app, but needs improvements

Cureatr works okay for reading pages, and if you set it to repeat notifications shrilly 11 times in a row, you won’t miss any pages. Issues that I have had are: 1) there is not a compatible iPad app and 2) there is no CarPlay app. The iPad app would be a luxury, but I have missed pages in the car due to my phone notification not going off while plugged into CarPlay. It would be nice to at least know there is a notification so that I can decide to pull over and look at the message, instead of seeing 40 minutes later when I get home that I missed a STAT page. A read-aloud function would also be desirable, like in iMessage - not sure about HIPAA rules on that one, but like in iMessage, you can decline to have the message read aloud.

Response from developer

Hello and thank you for your feedback! Cureatr can be downloaded on the iPad, however, you need to change the search results to look for iPhone apps. Applications that are compatible and work with CarPlay have been specifically written to do so. At this point in time, Cureatr has not been developed in that way. Finally, there is an option for the user to send you a voice note within Cureatr that can be played aloud, however, the read-aloud function is not a current feature.
