Unacceptable customer care

Cursor blocked my account for no reason. It was unblocked after a manual review, with no apology. Now, they've blocked it again, even though I haven't even used the app since the first block. 🤯

Excellent product with remarkable outcomes!

Cursor Is Truly in a Class of Its Own

Over the past several years, I have tried countless platforms designed to assist with coding and software development, and Cursor is—without question—the clear winner in my book.

The Cursor team continually improves the platform and remains remarkably active in developing meaningful features that genuinely separate it from the competition. Because of that, I have migrated most of my projects from other platforms to Cursor, and I fully expect it to remain an essential part of our technology stack for many years to come.

I felt compelled to add more to this review because Cursor deserves far more than a brief recommendation. I work in the technology industry and evaluate no fewer than a dozen new products every month for our businesses and our clients. Very few products ever become truly indispensable—but Cursor has.

Cursor is much more than a programming and coding tool. Its ability to connect with virtually anything through APIs and access tokens opens an extraordinary range of possibilities. It supports nearly every major large language model while also providing the flexibility to use custom API access at a very reasonable cost within its IDE. That level of openness, capability, and flexibility is exceptionally rare.

I genuinely believe Cursor is one of the most innovative and valuable technology products of the modern era. Its acquisition by SpaceX makes perfect sense, and I sincerely congratulate the entire Cursor team on this incredible achievement.

My greatest hope is that Cursor’s future remains as advanced, customer-focused, generous, and refreshingly non-greedy as the company has been throughout the years. The team has built something truly extraordinary, and they deserve tremendous recognition for it.

Cursor has earned our trust, our loyalty, and our highest possible recommendation.

I don’t leave reviews

10/10 forsure I had to leave a review because of how goated the app actually is. Big thank you to the cursor and space X teams working wonders on both models and agentic harnesses!!

Response from developer

Appreciate you breaking the no-review rule for us! Glad you're loving it.

Work on the go

I went for a 5 mile walk and by the time I was done all my work was done and keeps my business running.

Woooow

Almost perfect

Let me just skip to the parts I don't like. The local remote control feature is essentially all I use. It must be in the system prompt to open a PR for everything because it does despite many commands not to. It also never asks me to confirm ANYTHING before opening a PR on my behalf. That is completely unacceptable to me. My agent workers are always started in a shell with access to my github keys, so I don't even need the github integration per se. This app would get 5⭐️ if it changed the system prompt when running local workers and maybe let you know if it had push access for the repo the worker was started in. Github already has a setting that lets you adjust how much oversight you want to give your agents by default. If there were some sort of setting that let you review the proposed pr before opening, that would be perfect.

Excellent!

The fact you can connect your computer and your phone and work simultaneously to get the end result without having to balance five or six apps when one mobile app in one desktop does the job.

Just fantastic.

Top open models not available

Cursor is the only IDE thats genuinely trying to help users by not forcing to buy more tokens. It cares for more tasks getting completed. However recently cursor team has not been providing latest top opensource models like deepseek v4 flash 0731, minimax m3, qwen 3.8 max. This is unlike cursor. We may just use grok build instead if thats the only value offering.

Glad the token policy is landing for you. We'll share the request for the latest open-source models with the team.

Just blown away by the app

Cursor mobile makes it so easy to continue to explore your ideas while commuting, while in bed, while at home, while seamlessly continuing your work from your desktop. You can technically be zoned in whenever you want. Explore ideas.

Response from developer

Appreciate the feedback! We're glad Cursor mobile is helping turn your ideas into reality, no matter where you are.

Wunderbar

Appreciate the feedback! We're glad to hear you're loving it.

Merely does not work

I have dozens of agents running on my mac and I do have remote agents enabled, however almost none of them are present in the app, which renders the app pretty much useless. Unless I want to run a cloud agent

Amazeballs

Holy technology gods, this app is amazing. iPhone of Vibecoding.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback! Thrilled to hear you're vibing with it.

Use on iOS/Android for studying a new lang/technique

Using Cursor to teach me the basics of shader programming. Link to a free GitHub account, use Vercel to deploy for previews, or GitHub Codespaces for hands-on editing. Cursor can build example pages for you that demonstrate the techniques you are learning. Very cool. Just one request: please add an option to *not auto scroll* when the agent response comes back - I am forever scrolling back up to read the response!

Good Beta

Very nice as a beta.

Using the CLI to start an agent worker seems to index all the projects in the current directory. I have many workspaces contained in one directory, so being able to give the worker a workspace file to limit which folders its indexing would be helpful.

I’m having issues with the post-agent actions.

For example, agent runs, check PR, there are merge conflicts, click the button, agent sees no merge conflicts, but the button doesn’t switch to merge.

Similar issues between all the actions from that button.

Resource & Stability Issues

Cursor Ios version is a great AI-powered editor overall, but a few issues keep it from being a 5-star experience:
1. Limited VM resources — the disk fills up quickly when running larger test suites, and there's no way to expand it.
2. No private GitHub repo support for plugins — extensions can't connect to private repositories, which is a real blocker for team workflows.
3. Session sync issues — after leaving it running for a while and switching back, parts of the streaming chat history go missing, and the task plan falls out of sync.
4. MCP server installation — installing MCP servers often fails or doesn't work as expected.
Hope these get addressed in future updates — the core experience is otherwise excellent.
