Doesn’t show bike lanes and trails.
The idea of biking map is to have routes with bike lanes and trails to plan the routes personally as I like to find routes I prefer and don’t prefer to avoid in the future. This map doesn’t show bike lanes and trails. Useless map
It’s only Ontario and somewhere in Nova Scotia
It’s nice to know that from the title or description before you download it.

Buggy
Stuck on Waterloo after choosing Ottawa. After getting it to switch the search feature can't find something simple like a public library. UI is glitchy and unresponsive. Forced / unskippable supporter thanks pages. Accepts donations and promoted by the city of Ottawa, but doesn't seem to be open source? Promising idea but currently needs work.

Can’t get past the terms and conditions page
I’m on an iPhone 8, and can’t get past the Ts and Cs as I can’t scroll down to hit the next button.
What a great app. Just needs GPX file export…
The cycling world needs this app! One suggested improvement: many people plan routes on their phone but prefer to use a dedicated cycling head unit (eg. Garmin, Wahoo). Would be great to be able to use this app for safe route planning then export a GPX file to a bike computer for navigation.
Cannot use with iPhone 13 mini
Cannot use this app on my IPhone 13 mini. Installed, opened app, clicked check box to accept terms of service but then cannot click “continue” button because it is too low on the bottom of the screen.
Helpful in finding new routes around town
I enjoy the different options provided and the breakdown of what the route will be like. Have been using it in Halifax so far, but also excited to try it out next time I am visiting my hometown in Sarnia.
Changed the way I bike in the city
I absolutely love this app now. It feels like it has opened up the whole city for me because it shows me paths and shortcuts that I would have not found myself.
Even farther places feel within reach, especially because I am able to choose the bike friendlier routes for my ebike. It has shown me new routes for places that I used to already bike to and sometimes avoid due to car traffic. Thank you for bringing this app to Ottawa.

Solid biking app for the region
Appreciate that it indicates what type of biking routes are available (separated, painted lane, in street, etc) and that bike parking locations are being added as well. It does occasionally try to route me down a path with stairs in it, but that may be due to the open data quality that the app is pulling from, and the app creators are happy to take feedback and resolve the pathing issues.

Makes my rides more comfortable
I’ve been using this app for about a year or so and I like it a lot. It allows me to choose between routes depending on ride complexity, distance and time. So when I want to chill, I can choose the longest and easiest one, and when I want to be fast, I can choose the shortest one but it is likely to be harder. I know it has some issues and limitations, but I’m sure the developers are working hard on it.

Best bike routing yet!
I’ve been using Cycling Guide for a few months now and it has been simply amazing. The local contributions that Cycling Guide Foundation makes to OpenStreetMap means the routes are accurate, reliable, and consistently better than Google! They are truly the highlight feature. The stress levels are excellent for novices and experienced cyclists alike and I can’t wait to see the app evolve as they continue to develop new features. Would definitely recommend!

App issues
Hi was trying to find one of your suggested routes: Kissing Bridge-Woolwich Countryside Trail (?) 44K. Clicked on the link to start the ride and was brought back to the map page - what are you looking for type question.
Typed in the rides name and went nowhere, tried to type in the start and destination and it as offered a few 7/8k road rides
Tried other options and the app froze.
Not very functional. Also caps after periods would be nice and after hard returns.
