Slow to load, offline access not available
Takes ages to load library screen, takes ages to load content, and downloads aren’t available if you’re offline. Frustrating when you’re travelling.
Buggy app
Good contents. Nice reviews! But buggy app. Often it loads only half of the contents.

Cumbersome and not content not available offline
This is not about the content which I like - I’ve been a subscriber for over 10 years.
The app itself is less user friendly than previous app.
The biggest issue however is, even if the magazine is downloaded, it is not possible to view content if not connected to Internet. That means useless for when in places with limited connection, flights, overseas where can’t get data allowance etc.
It should not be a challenge to fix.

Why do I need to Login?
Deleted the app as you can’t look at the current issue before I buy. And no I don’t want to subscribe. Really?
Magazine let down by the app.
The app does not allow for an issue to be read without an internet connection present. I use the app to read when away from internet. And can’t open the app.
And reading the articles once out of internet is unstable and slow.
Yes I do download for offline purpose.

Absolute rubbish
Logged me out after paying a subscription and cannot get password reset. Poor service all round and I still get offer so my e mail every week. Gone back to magazine subscription but not received that yet !! Don’t bother
Worked fine for years now doesn’t
App has been fine for years, but now shows my CP subscription as Match of the Day magazine. Delete and reinstall solved the problem for about 10 minutes then all issues reverted to MOTD. Email to support was not answered. Not great. Update - now reverted back to CP magazine. Latest update is a car crash of an app. What used to be a reasonable experience is a laggy mess. Page turns cause a blank page for a short period, intrusive toolbar. And really black text on a dark grey background ?

App is worst ever
I’ve subscribed for years but over time the design of the app had diminished dramatically. They’ve now reached the point where the app is annoying and unusable. They want to sell you other publications. Currently, they’ve now cluttered up my library by including their magazine “Match of the Day” which I have no interest. The result is a library completely cluttered with no way to remove them.
To top it all off, their support offers no way to contact them.
After all this time, I just cancelled. Their management is apparently clueless and arrogant. Look at the dates of my comments and their response. They’re not the least bit interested in helping customers. I even went to their Facebook page to complain and they never responded. Take your money elsewhere. Cycling Plus is now run by losers and rip-off artists.
To top it all off, their support offers no way to contact them.

We carried out a lot of user testing before making this change and we feel that this solution offers the best reading experience for customers across all of the different screen sizes on Apple devices. Worked for a while now rubbish.
I’ve been a subscriber for a long time and have noticed this app getting worse to use for a while now. The updates have note changed the poor performance of paging through the magazine very slow. I have tried to contact the magazine subscription but have had no answer from them. They keep on filling my library with match of the day magazine which I do not subscribe to.

Good magazine, pity cant see it
All my cycling plus issues seem to have been replaced by match of the day.
Problems in downloading subscribed issues
Can’t download some bought issues, even tried for many times in different time.

App is now broken. Only shows MOTD magazines in the library. Telephone support 100% useless, eventually told to submit online form - no answer as of yet.

Was great, now crashing all the time and I can't get help
I've enjoyed this magazine app for a couple of years, but it has recently started crashing when I open articles.
It may be that my iPad is getting on a bit, but when I emailed the address on their website to get some help it got bounced back.
In this day and age, that is not acceptable.
If I can get some help, I'm likely to flip my score.

Easy to use
Like this app. As a viewer it’s really easy to read and look at the pictures which is essential for a magazine app. Simple and functional
Appalling app
Whilst the content (when I can actually get it to load) is good, the app itself is useless - poor layout that only shows half-pages or simply hanging at 99% when trying to download an issue. Foolishly, I bought a year’s subscription but I won’t be renewing.

Cannot download all my subscriptions. App dumps out. Cannot zoom in on articles. Terrible experience.

The print version used to be ok, but what on earth is this new app? Amateurish content, appallingly written, and with spelling and typing errors on every page, including the headlines. And they want you to pay for this?

I set up a subscription to the magazine online (not the app) and have tried to cancel the auto renew feature but the account area isn’t function properly on login. I’ve contacted them through the advised channels but had no response.
The app is poor - the magazine is presented in blog-style single column text, the images are often low resolution because they haven’t been optimised properly and invisibles appear in the text like this <strong>text<strong>.
These things combined guarantee that I won’t be continuing the subscription. Save yourself the grief.
